Hi:

I found 2 false positives on my deep scan that need to be addressed for the next update. The 2 are tvu network which belongs to tvu player (an online tv player) and the others is a MIRC which is a irc client and is legit. Please fix these 2 in the a squeared anti-malware. Thanks in advance.

I have this issue too. Is tvunetworks in fact a false positive? Yahoo search lists it as a dangerous download. Is it actual riskware? I did see it was taken off the blacklist already.

Hi Pfipps, and welcome to the forum.

Please follow the advices given in my 1st reply otherwise there is no way anybody can give you the certain answer

My regards

P.S. Riskware is not necessarily dangerous. Software flagged that way can be used for non-malicious purposes as well.
Riskware flagging (if confirmed that it is not False Ppositive) will usually stay and will not be fixed by the updates. User have to decide and if the Software is trusted – just WhiteList it

Hi there!

I am running Vista Home Premium 32 bit SP2 and currently running Avira Personal and the built in vista firewall turned on.

I don't have the scan report, but I will send the suspicious file. Actually, A-squared only found the registry entries, and so I am sending (to emsi directly) the .dll I found that is associated with tvu network.
