  7. My PC was infected by the trojan "Grand Prix2", which was shown as a "hidden file - Grand Prix2" when I power off the computer. What steps should I take to remove this threat and clean my PC? Thanks. Albert
  8. The problem is that the only file pairs that I could get were much more larger than the 250mb that the forum allows me to upload. Can I upload it to another server like gdrive?
  9. On the whole, with a fastish machine, and only SSDs in it, these days I have little interest in excluding any files from a scan. Is there no way to force EAM to look at everything? I could imagine though that someone with a slower machine, and spinning-rust, would have an altogether different point of view.
  10. is this an online key or offline key? and how to decrypt the data? Your personal ID: 0184Asd374y51QSXJovCeYMm5nZ9ab4HtvL9wXKYsSnOeEvOHqxp
  11. The problem is solved! I got my files back. You are amazing!!!!
  12. This is a newer variant of STOP/Djvu. Fortunately your ID is an offline ID, however we don't yet have the private key for it. I recommend running the decrypter once every week or two so that you can see when we've been able to add the private key for your variant. There is more information at the following link: https://support.emsisoft.com/topic/32045-about-the-stopdjvu-decrypter/
  13. This is a newer variant of STOP/Djvu, and your ID is an online ID, so there is currently no way to decrypt your files. There is more information at the following link: https://support.emsisoft.com/topic/32045-about-the-stopdjvu-decrypter/
  14. This is a newer variant of STOP/Djvu. If you have an offline ID, then once we can find the decryption key for this variant and add it to our database you should be able to recover your files. However, if you have an online ID (which is more likely) then it will not be possible to recover your files. There is more information at the following link: https://support.emsisoft.com/topic/32045-about-the-stopdjvu-decrypter/ Traducción proporcionada por Google: Esta es una variante más nueva de STOP / Djvu.
  15. In theory it's possible. If private keys are released that be can use to decrypt files, or if someone finds a vulnerability in the way the ransomware encrypts files.
  16. This is a newer variant of STOP/Djvu, and your ID is an online ID, so there is currently no way to decrypt your files. There is more information at the following link: https://support.emsisoft.com/topic/32045-about-the-stopdjvu-decrypter/

    NEW beta 10280

I have 5 eicar test files I use in my scans. I have report only selected. If I right-click on one of the files in the scan results and select 'invert' it de-selects it. It seems a very strange word to use for that action.
  18. Sir, is there any possibility that the decrypter will be maked in the future?
  19. This is a newer variant of STOP/Djvu, and your ID is an online ID, so there is currently no way to decrypt your files. There is more information at the following link: https://support.emsisoft.com/topic/32045-about-the-stopdjvu-decrypter/ Newer variants of the STOP/Djvu ransomware use RSA keys, which are not vulnerable to most forms of attack.

  21. That's correct. It would take even a supercomputer thousands of years to brute force a private key for the STOP/Djvu ransomware.
  22. This is a newer variant of STOP/Djvu. If you have an offline ID, then once we can find the decryption key for this variant and add it to our database you should be able to recover your files. 23. This is a newer variant of STOP/Djvu, and your ID is an online ID, so there is currently no way to decrypt your files. There is more information at the following link: https://support.emsisoft.com/topic/32045-about-the-stopdjvu-decrypter/ If law enforcement is able to catch the criminals or otherwise gain access to their servers and release their private keys for use in decrypters, then we can add them to our database so that everyone can get their files back. Our recommendation is to save a backup of your encrypted files and keep it in a safe place in case decryption is possible at some point in the future. We also recommend keeping an eye on BleepingComputer's newsfeed, as they will usually report on new developments with ransomware decrypters: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/ If you have an RSS feed reader, then they also have an RSS feed so that you don't have to manually check for news: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/feed/

  25. Our analysts believe the ransomware is secure, and that we will not be able to make a decrypter for it.
