  1. True, no one here asked for the online analysis, but, I certainly wanted to know how it could be so wrong. I questioned its' validity based on the 2 thing that I wrote about. I don't understand your observation that I "will never understand the output", when in fact I most certainly understood that the 2 reference that I posted here are understandably very wrong. Whatever follows in the analysis, after those egregious errors at its' very beginning, cannot be relied upon. Thank you for your response and for helping me to decide as to whether or not a-squared is something that I should trust. As a result of your comments, I have uninstalled both a-squared free and hijackfree. I'll find something more reliable and trustworthy to use.
  2. I have submitted for online analysis a "HiJackFree.log" to http://www.hijackfree.com/en/upload/. The online results are: 1) "The analyzed logfile is a HiJackThis logfile. If you want to see an online analysis with more details please use a-squared HiJackFree instead." "ToDo: Download and run a-squared HiJackFree" That's wrong! I used HiJackFree to create that log. 2) "Your used operating system version: Windows XP - The current version of your operating system: Windows XP Service Pack 3" "ToDo: Please update your operating system and install the latest service pack!" That's wrong! I have XP Pro SP3 with all current windows updates. What's wrong with a-squared HiJackFree that it gave me such wrong results?

  4. I submitted it as false alert. HJF log is in message #4
  5. Found the HJF log, attached it.
  6. Submit which file? The one in question is "services.exe" and an attachment was denied. Re: "HiJackFree log file has to be HJT compatible as per instruction", I don't know how to create it, please advise.
  7. First timer. Attached some logs. C:\WINDOWS\$hf_mig$\KB956572\SP3QFE\services.exe detected: Trojan.Win32.Spy.110080.7!A2 Can't believe this is a threat. Please advise.
