  1. Trojan.Win32.Alureon!E2 is a 'rootkit' infection. Because of the nature of this type of virus, removal is very difficult. I strongly advise you to follow the instructions here ; http://support.emsisoft.com/forum-6/announcement-2-start-here-if-you-dont-we-are-just-going-to-send-you-back-to-this-thread/ and await assistance.
  2. I am inclined to agree with Springer. I think the description 'Adware' implies a nuisance or PUP (potentially unwanted application). Many of the current Fake AV's include dangerous 'rootkits' and zero access malware in the payload.
