  1. Lawrence, I'm pretty sure that another program is interfering. Don't know which one, but if a registry fix program is running at each boot it could be the program that's messing up the Online Armor installation. Check which programs are starting with Windows and disable the fix and cleaner programs at start. If that doesn't help, disable other security software until Online Armor is installed and running like it should.
  2. Lawrence, I just installed Online Armor version 7.0.0.1866 on Windows 7 SP1 64bit and have no issues at all with the installation.. Version 7.0.0.1866 is the latest version, Did you confirm the unknown Autoruns? If you did, and are still in the update loop, I suspect other software on your system interferes with the installation. Check the logs from other active security software or disable other security software for a while till Online Armor is installed and running after the reboot.
  3. Caue, A license should be activated within 10 months after you purchased the license. I've changed your license key in our database and you should be able to activate the license key now.
  4. marzametal, Could ypu please check in Advanced mode, in Options > Firewall if "Filter invalid MAC addresses (according to IEEE OUI listing)" is enabled? If it is enabled, disable it and try again.
  5. koala, Are you sure you have Online Armor installed?
  6. Batman, Could you please check if enabling the Beta updates changes the update behaviour? There is a new update module available when Beta updates are enabled.
  7. 37597074 bytes = 35.8 megabytes 15021132 bytes = 14.3 megabytes
  8. you're welcome Once the EmsisoftEmergencyKit.exe extracted the files, you can remove the EmsisoftEmergencyKit.exe file from your system and use the shortcut on your dektop to start the Emergency Kit.
  9. I think you extract the files again. If you do, you replace all updated files. Use the shortcut on the desktop, do not doubleclick EmsisoftEmergencyKit.exe
  10. After restarting EEK or after restarting the system?
  11. With the option 'install beta updates' enabled you will receive version 4.0.0.14 when an update is performed.
  12. chee weng, see answer here: http://support.emsisoft.com/topic/12476-whitelist-not-working/
  13. chee weng, This is fixed in Emergency Kit 4.0.0.14 Beta. Please enable Beta updates in Emergency Kit and perform an update. You may uncheck the Beta updates once version 4.0.0.14 is released as stable version.
  14. m0unds, Thanks for the report, we'll try to reproduce and analyze this.
  15. Hi richymun4, Checked and confirmed. Will be fixed with a program update. Thanks for reporting this issue.
  16. ilowe, The exclusions do work for me on Windows 7 32bit. With cold boot and warm boot.
  17. Minsc_and_Boo Welcome to Emsisoft forums. The freeze issue that some users experienced is fixed in the beta version (see also our changelog) and i expect that this version will be released soon. If you can't wait for this release, you may enable the beta updates in Emsisoft Anti-Malware and keep them enabled until the Emsisoft Anti-Malware version 8.1.0.19 is released for everyone.
  18. Datastor, Adding the Goldmine program folder to Online Armor exclusions will probably fix the issue with the slowdown. Open Online Armor > Options > Exclusions, and add the Goldmine program folder.
  19. Datastor, Are the programs you mentioned trusted in Online Armor programs list, or only allowed?
  20. It's possible. You have to check the firewall logs and create rules manually. It would be easier to run in standard mode for a day or so. In standard mode the rules are created automatically.
  21. BIGG TEE, Welcome to Emsisoft support forums. What exactly is going wrong? Can't register the license in our license center, or can't active the license key in Emsisoft Anti-Malware?
  22. Can't give you an ETA. It's not a critical bug, the whitelist can still be used to exclude files, folders, processes or detections. And that's basically the whole idea of the whitelist. The issue with not being able to uncheck items in the whitelist will be fixed when a new version is released.
  23. Hi Julevine, I have no issues with checking or unchecking the scanner in the whitelist. What Windows version do you use? Oops, my bad. Thought it was about Emsisoft Anti-Malware... Checked EEK and you're right. Can't deselect the scanner box.
