  1. Hello Pars, Thank you for your feedback. Yesterday we have released a new beta version of Emsisoft Anti-Malware with some fixes for the Outlook Plugin. May you want to try if the new beta version 6.5.0.7 can help you to fix the issue ? Thanks for sharing your experience PeZzy! I can't explain to myself why the fresh installation fixes the problem and the beta updates itself do not. Although - Pars, if the new beta version won't work for you, may you want to test if reinstalling EAM could help ?

  4. Hallo GreJan, vielen Dank für deine Anfrage hier im Forum. Unsere Entwickler arbeiten bereits daran dieses Problem in den Griff zu bekommen. Erst heute Früh wurde wieder eine neue Beta-Version von Emsisoft Anti-Malware veröffentlicht. Um das Problem temporär in den Griff zu bekommen können im Moment die Beta-Updates für EAM aktiviert werden. Dazu bitte im Hauptfenster von EAM zu "Optionen" -> Tab "Update Einstellungen" die Checkbox "Beta-Updates verwenden" aktivieren. Trotzdem, die Beta-Updates bitte nur aktivieren wenn man auch wirklich Beta-Versionen von Emsisoft Anti-Malware testen

Hallo GreJan, danke dass du unser Support Forum verwendest. zu 1) Wenn die Internetseite von deiner Bank im Banking Mode nicht angezeigt werden kann, so besteht die Möglichkeit Online Armor lernen zu lassen welche Seite er aufrufen darf. Dazu musst du dich vorerst im Standard oder Advanced Mode befinden (aber nicht(!) im Banking Mode und OA darf auch nicht im Lernmodus sein). Klicke dann bitte im Hauptfenster von Online Armor links im Menü auf den Link "Domains" und trage in diesem Fenster nun bitte die Domäne deiner Bank ein. Das kannst du erledigen indem du einmal auf den Button "Neu"

As I can see on the version number of Online Armor which is installed on the system of your son, it seems you don't have the latest version installed on the system. Please could you download a fresh copy of Online Amror from the following site: http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/oa/ Now please start the installer and choose to 'upgrade' Online Armor during installation process. Um Online Armor Firewall (OA) in Emsisoft Anti-Malware (EAM) auszunehmen, bitte einfach im Hauptfenster von EAM zu "Wächter" -> Tab "Dateiwächter" navigieren und anschließend auf den Link "Ausnahmen bearbeiten" klicken. Hier nun bitte die folgenden Prozesse hinzufügen: "oasrv.exe", "oaui.exe", "oahlp.exe", "oacat.exe" Dazu bitte im folgenden Fenster ganz links in der Tabelle "Prozess" auswählen und anschließend einmal rechts daneben in der Spalte "Eintrag" die leere Zelle daneben klicken.   12. Hello Pars, Thank you for using our support forum. Have you already tried to enable the beta updates in Emsisoft Anti-Malware ? (You can do so by navigate to 'Configuration' -> tab 'Update Settings' in the main window of EAM)

Dear scottls1, Thank you for posting this topic. ad 1) If you exclude a folder everything within the folder (and also sub-folders) are excluded ad 2) If you would untick 'Scanner' the objects and subfolders in this folders will be not(!) excluded from the scanner at all. So if you leave 'File Guard' and 'Behavior Blocker' ticked and just unstick 'Scanner' - the Guard and Blocker will not act on the folder but the folder will be scanned. I hope I was able to clarify with my answers!

Just to be sure - if you navigate to 'Configuration' tab 'General' in the main window of Emsisoft Anti-Malware, is the checkbox called 'Activate email scanning' ticket ? Please could you open Outlook 2003 on your computer and see if you can find the Anti-Malware plugin ? You should be able to find options like 'Scan the actual mail' and the possibility to make adjustments there. Or is the problem that you can't find the plugin at all ?

If you are using the Trial Version of Online Armor Firewall or if you have a license key for Online Armor Premium, you are able to switch to 'Advanced Mode'. Just if you are using the 'Freeware Mode' it is not possible. To switch the mode right klick on the shield of Online Armor in the Windows Task Bar.   24. Hello flaubert, thanks for using our support forum. May you want to check if Emsisoft Anti-Malware is excluded in Online Armor ? To do so in the main window of Online Armor please navigate to 'Options' -> 'Exclusions'. Now please add the installation folder from EAM here. If you choose 'Status' in the main window of EAM you can check if you are protected at the moment. (You can also have a look in the task manager to find the processes a2guard.exe and a2service.exe to do so)
