i think the programm will work, but it does not make any sense using Online Armor without actually updates, in my opinion.

i still dont understand the problem "I click on a website in Mozilla, IE or Chrome that the URL information is no longer showing green" can you post a screenshot and mark what should be green .. i think its not fault of Emsi products

Ich die Anmerkung, dass der hotfix nicht leicht zu finden war leider nicht nachvollziehen. Da der erste Treffer von Google mit dem Suchbegriff KB2958399 dem Besucher den download offenbart. Bzgl des hotlinkings wurde von Fabian beschrieben, dass warum auch immer, Microsoft das nicht erlaubt. Alternativ könnte man hier jedoch eine spezielle Seite erstellen, welche dem Benutzer zeigt was wie wo zumachen ist, bzw einen hotlink zu Google mit dem Suchbegriff bereit stellt.

sry, dass ich meine Frage dazwischen werfe ... Ist es möglich, den Hotfix im EIS Installer einzubinden und dann via Abfrage der Systeminformationen überprüft, ob der Hotfix installiert werden sollte. Und dann mit der Installation von EIS automatisch installiert wird, ohne das der Nutzer manuell nach dem Fix suchen zu müssen ? Alternativ, falls nicht schon vorhanden, vllt via Hotlink verlinken

if you enabled PUP detection in your configuration, they should be detected .. it seems that the GIMP installer is "clean" right now .. if you try installing filezilla from sf you will get several warnings, that the installer tries to install "PUPs" (potentially unwanted programs) and want to manipulate programs

As I understood the EIS Icon isnt showing up in the tray Bar? Are you sure that the process is alive? Are all processes running (a2...) if you open the taskmgr

what does the "update log" show ? Make sure that under "Settings>Updates>Proxy settings" you dont have "use proxy" ticked "I tried to switch EIS off and revert to Windows Defender until the problem is sorted, but I can't do this." why not, may you tell us what exactly is going wrong at this step ((( are you able to access the update/dl server ? update.emsisoft.com -> should redirect you to emsisoft dl.emsisoft.com -> should show error if for some reason the domains wont work, please reply ))))

If you turn the backdoor related activity option "off", the program will still have internet access ... habe durch das thema Vivaldi mal den Tor Browser getestet, hier wurde ich nicht alamiert das die Webseite gefährlich sei..

ich denke auch, das es im Endergebniss günstiger ist, falls du Emsisoft in einem Jahr wieder verlängern willst, wenn du es hier kaufst ... wobei du dann keine gratis Hitman Pro Version dazu bekommst .. was mich persönlich schon wieder reizen würde alternativ könntest du einfach mal nachfragen ob man dir die Zeit auf deinen bestehenden Key gutschreiben könnte, was ja kein Problem darstellen sollte .. @Fabian Wosar zB

naja 1 Minute googeln und man finden massenweise tuts oder auch apps die dies sofort machen, zb http://www.androidnext.de/apps/framaroot-android-root/ man könnte ja 2 versionen machen, EMS und EMS for rooted phones
