  6. Actuality is never run two software firewalls together
  7. @Fabian Wosar Too much kryptonite maybe
  8. Thanks Fabian. As i say just a recent observation, i will tweak my firewall rules accordingly
  9. Since i used EAM for 3-4 years now the only traffic i used to see from a2service.exe was to the update servers addresses. Most recently, say 4-6 weeks i have seen different traffic activity. Is this traffic authentic and safe ? Suffice to say i have made sure my system is clean. Examples of IP's 23.35.213.163 (Akamai Emsi cloud check ?) 23.35.219.27 (Akamai Emsi cloud check ?) 109.144.115.40 (My ISP in UK BT) 109.144.115.64 (My ISP in UK BT) 178.255.83.1-178.255.83.2 (Comodo certificate checks ?) 192.116.242.20 (StartSSL certificate check ?) EAM (latest stable), Win Firewall/WFC [WIN7 64bit] Appreciate any guidance. Thanks
  10. @Christian Mairoll Jungle drums have been heard Please confirm if EIS 9.0.0.4433 will be the final version. Many thanks
  11. Did you contact Emsisoft support for help ?
  12. Emsi are simply pruning their signatures, be assured you are not less protected http://support.emsisoft.com/topic/14880-signature-updates/?p=112701
  13. Feedback re: EIS 9 [beta] Had this installed on our 3 home machines for 3-4 weeks and trialed all the beta versions, found this too heavy and sluggish on 2 machines (Win 7 and 8.1 64bit -- 4 gb of Ram) Noticed EIS9 Beta using in excess of 300 megs of RAM also, this seems to have increased on recent beta builds. Now reverted back to previous deadly duo: EAM9/OAP Will monitor updates and progress with EIS 9 [beta] Good luck guys
  14. @ThePierrezou Sorry to hear of your problems Please remember EIS is still in beta stage and really should not be run on a gaming machine. Maybe use EAM stable until EIS has matured.
  15. You're lucky i've only ever seen one
  16. Updated EAM9 now singing merrily on 3 'production' machines. Thanks!
  17. @salah-pro I cannot recall version 9.0.0.10 being released Where did you download the installer ?
  18. Thanks for replies, was just curious because of the lack of posts. Even though I am not a 'registered' tester I have used all betas on test systems (Win 7 and Win 8.1 64 bit) with no major issues. I am still using EAM8 and OAP on my main machine and await further test builds before release. Thanks again
  19. What's the estimate of amount of people testing these betas ? Reason i ask is it seems so quiet here and at Wilders with any activity or feedback. Have any show stopping bugs been found to prevent a possible release time now ?
