  1. According to our system, the license key registered with your Customer Center account has been activated 5 times today on two different computers, which is probably why you had the issue. The IP address is the same for both computers, so if this license was supposed to be for more than one computer, then please send me a private message with the information and I will look into it. Also, please note that I have deleted the mapping history for your license key for today, so you can activate Emsisoft Anti-Malware with it again.
  2. Just an FYI: I have heard (and this does not come from an official source) that Avira's installer will list any security software that is installed as incompatible, regardless of what software it is or what vendor it is from. That information may be incorrect, but it would be rather interesting if it is true. I agree, however the important thing is that the opening poster can install and use the software that they want. @Chibichen: Please let me know if you are still having issues.
  3. I'm glad to hear that all is working now. Please let us know if you have any further issues.
  4. OK, the entries are still in the log. Lets get an anti-virus scan from a third-party, just to make sure that we are not missing anything. Please run an online virus scan through ESET by following the steps below: Turn off your anti-virus software. Click on this link. Click on the ESET Online Scanner button. Put a check in the box that says YES, I accept the Terms of Use. Click the 'Start' button just to the right of the checkbox. Uncheck the box that says Remove found threats (this is very important). Click on Advanced settings. Put a check in the box that says Scan for potentially unsafe applications. Verify that Scan for potentially unwanted applications is also checked. Verify that Enable Anti-Stealth technology is also checked. Click the Start button in the lower-right corner of the page, and it will begin downloading it's database, and then it will start scanning. When the scan is done, if it shows a screen that says Threats found!, then click List of found threats, and then click Export to text file... (if nothing was found, then just let me know that no threats were found). Save that text file on your desktop, and then attach it to a reply (using the More Reply Options button in the lower-right corner of this forum topic) for me. Close the ESET online scan. I will take a look at the log, and let you know if anything needs removed.
  5. Are you not able to access the system while Windows is running in Safe Mode? In that case, I'd recommend starting from a bootable disk, and looking in the user profile directories in the "Application Data", "AppData\Roaming", and "AppData\Local" subdirectories to see if there is anything that appears to have a random name. If so, try changing the name (such as adding something like .bak or _backup to the end of the name) and then restart the computer normally. You may also be able to run our command-line scanner from a bootable disk, however please note that I have not tested this and do not know if it will work.
  6. Is there no option to ignore the installed security products and install Avira anyway? Their software should be compatible with Emsisoft Anti-Malware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, although all three running real-time protection at once might be overkill.
  7. I am running MBAM 1.70 without any issues, so I don't think it is the cause of the problem. Can you set Kaspersky to not run on startup, and let us know if you continue to have issues after that?
  8. You'll want to create process exclusions for each of COMODO's executables. Here's instructions: Open Emsisoft Anti-Malware from the icon on the desktop. Click Guard in the menu on the left. Go to the File Guard tab. In the lower-left corner, just above Alerts, click on the Manage whitelist link. In the box under Type click the little down arrow and change it from File to Process (you may need to click in the box for the arrow appear). Click in the white box below Item to make a button with three dots (...) appear, and then click the ... button. Navigate to the directory where the files you wish to exclude are located, and double-click on one of them to add it. Repeat the last 3 steps as needed to add each file to the exclusions list. Click the OK button at the bottom when done, and close Emsisoft Anti-Malware.
  9. Please try right-clicking on the little Emsisoft Anti-Malware icon in the lower-right corner of the screen (to the left of the clock), go to Guard state, and select Disable Surf Protection. After that, try your Maplestory game again, and let me know if that makes any difference.
  10. I'm sorry, I should have checked the link before I posted my reply last night. When we click on the RapidShare link that you posted, it says "Download permission denied by uploader. (0b67c2f5)" If you want, you might be able to send them to me as an attachment to a private message. If that doesn't work, then let me know, and I'll send you my e-mail address.
  11. Please note that Emsisoft Anti-Malware version has been released, which includes a fix for the scheduler. Please let me know if you are still experiencing issues with daily scheduled scans after updating to version
  12. Emsisoft Anti-Malware version has been released, and contains several fixes related to the settings file. Here is a link to the changelog. Please let us know if that has resolved the issue.
  13. I don't think anyone has tried testing from a bootable environment since the last major version of the Emsisoft Emergency Kit was released. I know that it had issues in the past, and couldn't run from a BartPE disk, however I am not certain if that is still the case.
  14. Please open Emsisoft Anti-Malware, go to Configuration in the menu on the left, uncheck Enable Guard on system startup, and then restart your computer. Let me know if you are still having the issue. Note that you can re-enable the Guard and restart your computer again once you are fairly certain whether or not that helped.
  15. My apologies, I have been away from the forums for a few days. I'll make sure that our developers get your logs.
  16. I'm not seeing anything in that log that would explain your issues. I'm afraid that without debug logs from Online Armor that we probably won't be able to figure out what is going on.
  17. OK, some of the stuff wasn't removed. Here's another OTL script (if you need to, you may download OTL from this link): Please download the following OTL_Script file, and save it on your desktop. After saving it, open it, run OTL, and copy and paste the contents of the OTL_Script file into the Custom Scans/Fixes box at the bottom of the OTL window: Then click the Run Fix button at the top. Let the program run unhindered, restart your computer when it is done (it may automatically restart your computer on its own). After your computer has restarted, please open OTL again and click the Quick Scan button. Attach the log it produces in your next reply (just the OTL log, as I don't need to see the Extras log again). You will need to click the button that says More Reply Options to the lower-right of where you type your reply to be presented with the attachment controls.
  18. In addition to the suggestion to run AVCleaner, I would be interested in seeing an OTL log just to get a look at your computer's load points (startup items, services, drivers, etc). Please run OTL by following the instructions below: Click this link to save OTL onto your desktop (please make sure to click 'Save' instead of 'Run'). Double click on the OTL icon on your desktop to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted. Click the Run Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan will take a few minutes. When the scan completes, it will open two Notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. The first one (OTL.txt) will be automatically saved on your desktop next to OTL, and the second one will need to be saved manually. Please make sure that both OTL.txt and Extras.txt are saved on your desktop, and then attach both of them to a reply so that we can take a look at them.
  19. Please uninstall Online Armor, restart your computer twice, and then download and reinstall from this link.
  20. OK, I have sent the link to your logs to our developers, and I'll let you know if they need any more information.
  21. You're quite welcome. Please let me know if you have any further issues.
  22. Do you have exclusions in set up in your ESET software for Online Armor's files?
