  1. No i'm still waiting and i've still got the same problem, it seems OA isn't a priority. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come, as i've still got 4 years left on my licence It's funny you replied as i was sending a email to Emsisoft asking whats going on.
  2. Hi, Is there any update on this as i still haven't heard anything ? I've had to stop using using OA in the meantime, and use other software, as i can't have learning mode auto allowing everything. It's over a month and there dosen't seem to be any hope of a solution.
  3. Thanks for getting back to me. I've pm'ed you the system info log
  4. Hi, I was just wondiring if there's any update ? As the problem with learning mode is still ongoing and i haven't heard anything. Thanks Steve
  5. Thanks I've sent you a pm with the new logs.
  6. Thanks for getting back to me. I manually switched off enable logging and debug mode after i zipped the log files as i didn't think i needed it to be on after the logs were sent. Should i delete the existing logs folder and start from scratch ? Is this correct ? Select Enable Logging, Select Additional debug info, Restart , Replicate problem, Zip Logs Folder, Leave Logging and debug switched on ? Should i enable logging first, restart and then enable debug mode and restart ?
  7. Yes i restarted the computer both times after enabling debug mode. were the new logs i sent you ok ?
  8. Hi, That's very strange, i followed your instructions, I enabled logging mode selected additional debug info and zipped all the files in the logs folder. I've redone the logs and again selected additional debug info. Ive sent them to you in a PM I've never used the ctrl + alt + L keyboard shortcut, what i have done done is to right click the OA icon in the taskbar and click learning mode in the list to turn it off when i've found that' it's automatically been switched on. Thanks Steve
  9. Thanks very much for your help .
  10. Hi, I've been using Online Armor for quite a few years and learning mode has always worked fine ; after installing OA learning mode is automatically activated for a few minutes, then switches itself off, and then it doesn't reactivate unless i manually turn it on. I've recently got a new PC with Windows 8.1 and i installed OA, after installing, OA ran learning mode as normal and then exited learning mode. Then i started getting popups from OA telling me that i shouldn't be in learning mode all the time, when i checked the history, learning mode is constantly being automatically entered and exited all the time. i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still have the same problem. I'd be very grateful for any help. Thanks Steve
  11. Hi, Thanks very much for your reply. When you say the stack is messed up is there something i can or need to do to sort that out? I've uninstalled SAS but that doesn't seem to have made any difference, The BSOD only occurred the once when EAM appeared to have started normally and instead of the error message a BSOD. It seems strange that SAS would be the culprit when I’ve had no problems up until the EAM program update, and first time I restarted after the update the EAM error messages started. Startup is still very slow, when windows does load the EAM icon appears in the taskbar, the program doesn’t seem to try to update, and then i get the following error; A major problem has prevented the application from starting. Anti-Malware Guard can't connect to the service application. Please reboot your PC and try again, or contact support if the problem persists. I click ok and the icon disappears from the taskbar. The PC then seems to work ok but obviously without EAM. Thanks Bison
  12. Hi, My system details are ; Windows XP Home SP3 32 bit Emsisoft Anti-Malware (7.0.0.22) Online Armour Premium (6.0.0.1736) SUPERAntiSpyware Professional (On demand) Malwarebytes Pro (On Demand) Last night anti-malware updated itself and then a box appeared, saying it had downloaded a new version and i needed to click to restart it to apply the update, which i did. That seemed to work fine with no noticable problems. When i next had to restart the computer the startup was very slow. When windows did start i had the following emsisoft error; A major problem has prevented the application from starting. Anti-Malware can't connect to the service application. Please reboot your PC and try again, or contact support if the problem persisits. I rebooted and the same thing happened, very slow startup followed by the error. I rebooted again and anti-malware did seem to start but after a short time i had a BSOD, the error code shown in event viewer is ; 04/05/2013 13:44:38 Error code 1000008e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2 00000000, parameter3 a5ea9cd8, parameter4 00000000 I've attached the minidump. I also noticed in the event viewer it shows ; 04/05/2013 13:44:06 Error The Emsisoft Anti-Malware 6.0 - Service service hung on starting. I ran the "Emsisoft Emergency Kit" but it didn't find anything. I'd be very grateful for any help you could give me to sort this problem out. Thanks Bison
  13. Hi Sergey, Thanks for getting back to me. Yes i figuared that out this morning, i've done the same procedure as before, and the Auto Update is working fine again, only this time i'll keepm the Beta Updates ticked Thanks Bison
  14. Hi Sergey, Sorry to bother you again but it's stopped automatically updating again. It worked pefectly all yesterday, but when i switched my computer on today, emsisoft popped up telling me i was using a trial version, and if i had a licence key to enter it. I'ts the first time i'ts ever done that, and when i clicked to enter the licence number, it was already displayed there, so i clicked enter and it recognised my licence. But since then the automatic update has stopped working again, i tried what worked before but no luck. Best Regards Bison
  15. Hi Sergey, I tried what you suggested and that seems to have done the trick, for the first time there's a succsessful automatic update in the update log. Thanks very much for all your help. Bison
