  1. Thank you Arthur, the problem has been fixed and all is well.
  2. Hi Folks, I am very happily using the Beta of Emsisoft Internet Security and am really thrilled about it. My brother will be staying with me the next couple of days and will need to hook up with my router for his laptop. I know he is not the most security conscious individual when it comes to computers. Will I be putting my PC at risk if I allow him to connect to my router? Thank you very much.
  3. Hi Guys, I was one of those 'advocates' for the Emsisoft Internet Security suite; but, I've been happily using your Internet Security Pack for 2 years now. I was so happy to see the Beta release of EIS, I decided to join the other Beta users and try it out (and hopefully contribute some good input points). Anyway, I have the Beta Update box checked and I had the update frequency set to every hour; but every time it updates, it prompts me to reboot (saying it is necessary) to complete the update. Is it really necessary to reboot each time the EIS updates? If that is the case, I will just Update once or twice a day but I would prefer to do it hourly. By the way, I did a Total Scan some time after downloading EIS and it took 65 minutes to complete. To tell you the truth, I don't think it is 'too' long for a Full Scan. So far I think EIS is a fine Suite and I am sure when it is complete, you will have made it "second to none". Good job guys...keep up the great work for those of us in need out here!
  4. I have been running Online Armor and Emsisoft Anti-Malware for a couple of years now....none better in my opinion. Am I protected from this new Heartbleed bug that I am seeing so much about? Thanks...Emsisoft rocks!
  5. Thank you once again Arthur...you saved the day! Now if Emsisoft could only invent a program to save me from myself! LOL
  6. My Online Armor and Emsisoft Anti-Malware icons have always been visible next to the clock on my Desktop. For some reason the EAM shield is no longer there although the product still seems to be working and updating etc. I have "Show Icon and Notifications" set for the icon but it is still missing. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to make it reappear? Thanks!
  7. Before I knew of the Internet Security Suite, I purchased the Online Armor firewall and the next day purchased Emsisoft's AntiMalware. On the third day I saw (online) a comment about Emsisoft's Internet Security Suite. I saw where the Suite included Online Armor and the AntiMalware components but are there any other features in the Suite that I am missing out on by owning the two security programs (OA $ AM) separately? I also saw where Emsisoft's programs work well with other AntiVirus programs. Should I have another AntiVirus program installed (other than Emsisoft's)?
