  6. Да в принципе можно и по-русски Сейчас посмотрю, что в дампе. С уважением, Андрей.
  7. You can install whatever edition (Free/Premium/++) you'd like to. Best regards, Andrey.
  8. If a program is trusted then OA automatically allows it to access the internet. (appropriate settings are located at Options->Firewall). If you want to block a specific program from accessing the net - just find/create appropriate firewall rule. Best regards, Andrey.
  9. Hi Darren, Would you like to try one of the latest beta versions? Best regards, Andrey.
  10. You can try running nslookup tool and resolving the addresses mentioned in those popups. I think that is what your DNS resolves them to. Best regards, Andrey.
  11. Hi GregDashaway, The bug with scan being possible when no drive is selected is fixed. The fix will be available in the next release. Thanks for the report Best regards, Andrey.
  12. Hi ITPython, Thanks for such a detailed description Could you please pm me the system information file (.nfo) from your second xp boot? Thanks in advance, Best regards, Andrey.
  13. You should not worry I didn't have troubles reading or understanding either your posts or the idea of "dual boot" Best regards, Andrey. P.S. It would be good to check if the oahlp.exe process is running on your second boot as well.
  14. Look, when you install OA on two different systems into the same folder you can face all kinds of errors, etc. Please try installing OA into a different folder on your second "boot". Rebooting twice needed to make sure that the OS has deleted the drivers. (they're being only disabled on the first reboot). Best regards, Andrey.
  15. Hi ITPython, Thanks for the logs, Just a crazy thought - when you tried installing OA on your second XP boot - where did you install it to? The default folder you were proposed to install, right? If so - I would like to ask you to uninstall the OA v4 from that boot (important: using OA's uninstaller, not revo uninstaller or any other tool), perform 2 reboots and perform a clean install OA v5. An important thing: please specify some different folder to the one you'd be proposed to install to. (For example - disk:\Program Files\Online Armor Boot 2\). Thanks in advance, Best regards, Andrey.
  16. Hi ITPython, Any news ? Thanks in advance, Best regards, Andrey.
  17. Dear NaughtyB, We would greatly appreciate If you'd make a list of what you've expected from us and either post it here or send via email/pm. I must say that I'm surprised by your post. When I was dealing with updates problem you had - we've solved it in a few hours. As for "some parts not working": (I guess we're talking about OA not being able to block a web site) On my laptop, on several test boxes and virtual machines OA is capable to block sites. So, this is something with your setup. If you still want to investigate the issue - please drop me a pm. Thank you in advance, Sincerely,
  18. Ok) Anyhow - please collect some logs from the first boot and send them to the address in my previous post Please make sure that the logs include the boot time (in other words - reboot after turning logging on and collect the logs after reboot ) Thanks in advance, Best regards, Andrey.
  19. Hi ITPython, Could you please gather some logs from both boots and send them to oasupport (at) emsisoft (dot) com ? Please include the link to this forum topic in your email. Please also state the relevance of the logs to your OS boots. (e.g. logs1.zip - 1st system installation, logs2.zip - 2nd system installation). Thanks in advance, Best regards, Andrey.
  20. Hi zutroi67, Could you please tell me the submission IDs you were given when submitted the crash dumps? If you do not recall the submission IDs - could you please email the dumps to oasupport (at) emsisoft (dot) com ? Thanks in advance, Best regards, Andrey.
  21. 1) Run cmd.exe 2) In cmd.exe type nslookup and hit enter 3) type the domain name from the popup and hit enter 4) See the result Best regards, Andrey.
  22. OA intercepts DNS replies. I guess if you'd run nslookup and resolve the mentioned skype-related addresses you'd see that they resolve to Best regards, Andrey.
  23. )) Hehe... Then I guess you have the needed skills/time to nail the problem with hardware down P.S. You're right... computer shops aren't that fast and reliable all the time ))
  24. OA has a different oanet.sys driver on Windows XP systems. On Vista and 7 (x86/x64) the os should prompt when oanet.sys is being installed. If oanet.sys driver would not be properly signed or in case the certificate the driver was signed with expires - windows should not allow the installation or the driver startup. You can read more about driver signing at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/hardware/gg487317 About the topic: First thing I'd try is to uninstall Networx and see if reinstalling OA's firewall component would help (OA Configuration->Options->Firewall-> click uni
