Andrew F. replied to laopa's topic in Other Emsisoft products
Hello, We've uploaded a new firewall engine build to beta updates. Could you please update to beta version and check whether the new engine fixes the BSOD for you? To do so just select an appropriate update feed in updates settings. Thank you in advance, -

Could you please uninstall it and check whether the BSOD would be reproducible without it ? Thank you in advance,

Hello, Could you please tell me whether you use a software called "Jaksta" ?

Thank you. One of the dump files (081115-12156-01.dmp) says the crash was caused by hmpalert.sys driver. Which I think belongs to Hitman Pro. The second one says that crash was caused by fwndislwf64.sys. So, you had 2 different BSODS actually. I'll look into the 2nd one and will post here once it'll be fixed. Thank you for the dumps,

Andrew F. replied to ratman's topic in Other Emsisoft products
PM received, thanks. Unfortunately the dump that contained information about fwndis64.sys driver didn't help to identify the problem (if there's any). However, we've published a new release (with a new version of firewall engine) and you seem to have it installed now (according to the version of the file you sent me). I'd appreciate if you'd send me another dump in case you'd encounter another BSOD. Sorry again, Thank you in advance, -

Hello, Sorry you're having issues with EIS. I've analyzed the dumps you attached. Could you please zip fwndis64.sys (located at c:\windows\system32\drivers) and send me the resulting archive via pm? Thank you in advance, -
Hello, The dump shows that the BSOD happened because of VirtualBox's driver. This is a known bug in VB and can't be fixed on our side.

Network Blocked / Computers Can't Ping Each Other
Andrew F. replied to chamlin's topic in Other Emsisoft products
Hello, We usually do not give any promises/ETAs about the dates of releases. The amount of time between beta and stable releases depend on the quality of a particular build and the feedback we receive. Thank you for understanding, -
Emsisoft blocking Plex home media server
Andrew F. replied to Threft's topic in Other Emsisoft products
Hello Threft, Sorry, it's a bug in EIS firewall module. We will post a fix in a beta release as soon as possible. You can also try to remove the port 1900 from the blocking global rules and see whether it'd make any difference. -
