  1. And after the manual start I tried to change some settings, but I can't change anything. I now can't even click the field 'put in a license code'... I found my license key back and this is not a problem for me anymore
  2. Hi, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the newest version. I get the popup that somethings missing. If I start EIS mannualy after that it works, so I hope that gets fixed soon. But with the reinstall I lost my license key and I cannot find it. How can I get it back? Update: i found my license key back
  3. Ok, thanx. So I understand it continually/continuously logs as I am working with my pc and that's why it will eat up space in the process of it?. Can I delete the logs? Which directory?
  4. The only thing I am confused of now is what is the best thing to do? I turned debugging on and it seems to work, is that all I have to do (is this the permanent fix allready)? Or do I have to turn it off again at some point? And will the software update automatically with a permanent fix for this?
  5. I turned on debugging and yes for me this worked as well. The program started and it downloaded all updates automatically. So I will leave it on untill there's a permanent fix
  6. I send him a message. Hope to hear from him soon.
  7. Also got the same problem. Adguard works, not EIS. EIS can't connect to service.
  8. It's working fine with just Emsisoft or just McAfee. McAfee said I needed to choose, they offered no solution. I was on the phone for 30 minutes and chose Emsisoft, but I have paid for both software packagese. So I wanted a refund. They said they would arrange that after the long talk we had. They said they call me back, they didn't. I like this forum, most of you are answering quickly and helping out. That's why I choose to stay with Emsi. Do you have other software recommendation next to EIS? Cause I want my pc to be secure and safe. Thnx so far
  9. I will uninstall McAfee and look what will happen just to be sure
  10. Yes, I tested and it still occurs when McAfee is shut down, after about 30 minutes it suddenly is going up
  11. I just reinstalled, and excluded the files. Maybe I was too late, but memory went up again to 80%. I will restart and check again later.
  12. I'm trying to reinstall, but got a message it's already installed. So I guess not all has been removed. What can I do to reinstall?
  13. Hi, thanx for your reply! I will try that! It never was an issue before, but it's certainly worth a try. Will let you know how this works for me
  14. Made this video the night before:
  15. Tested a lot on my pc, but every time my memory went up and never went down. PC just hangs in about 30 minutes or so. Finally I uninstalled Emsisoft Internet Security (which I don't want to, but to test I had to) and now I'm running my pc as it normally would. No problems with working in Lightroom and browsing with Chrome. So my thoughts: EIS has a memory leak. But I don't know what to do? I can try install again and see what it does, but I found it weird that suddenly there's a problem with using EIS. I have been using since november and has been running with no problems.
