That is correct, the computer always boots up with Online Armor in learning mode even though it is shut down in normal mode.

Every time I boot up my Windows 8.1 computer Online Armor is in learning mode. I turn off learning mode and it is fine until next boot up. I cannot find any setting to make Online Armor boot up with learning mode off. Rob

I have managed to solve the problem myself (must be a self help forum) by doing a fresh install of online armor.

For some reason Online Armor version7.0.0.186 running on Windows 8.1 64 bit has stopped auto starting when I boot the computer. The only thing that starts is oacat.exe. Thank you Rob

Christian, Thank you for your reply. I uninstalled NOD several days ago. I tried the new install file but no luck. I am still getting the same error message.

After installing OA I get the following message on reboot and every reboot since..... "runtime error 216 at 6200389E" Running Win8 64 bit Thank you Robbie
