  1. Возможно, это связано с геолокацией? Какая у вас операционная система? Вы пытались включить и снова отключить блокировку сети? Также есть какие-либо обновления Windows, ожидающие установки? Perhaps it is to do with geolocation? What is your operating system ? Have you tried turning the network lock on and then off again? Also are there any Windows updates pending install ?
  2. Вы пробовали перезагрузить компьютер?
  3. Please upload a copy of the ransom note and an encrypted file here and post back with the result.
  4. Looks like this will be a long running saga
  5. Just in case there is a misunderstanding. Mouse over the notification popup itself... not the notification area .
  6. True. But scan and clean has nothing to do with network lockdown and firewall. Are you saying that the on/off buttons are where the are purely to be in line with the tile above them ? Surely the position of the on/off buttons should be placed to relate to the network lockdown and firewall and not anything else. After all, the GUI is not there just to look pretty and have the squares matching.

    NEW LibreOffice

That's true Jeremy. I should have phrased it better. Why doesn't it show as LibreOffice when that's how the taskmanager sees it.
  8. Win 10 1903. EAM 9681. LibreOffice Just wondering why it doesn't show in BB list.

You have to use the 2 headed arrow on the edges of the screen to drag it to a smaller size. Not ideal I know.
  10. Good to hear you are all sorted now Nikilet. Those Windows updates can sure cause some weird problems can't they
  11. Did you do the Malware scan or the Custom scan?
  12. Ok I'll do a screenshot The switch look to belong to Update and License info instead of Firewall and Lockdown
  13. Just wondering why the on/off switches are next to update info and licence info instead of next to Firewall and Network Location at the far left hand side.
  14. Not sure what you mean by security code to answer a question on forum. Do you have a screenshot? Have you tried things such as a full RESTART of your machine ? Are you a wired or a wifi connection? Are you using Win 10? Did David ask you to consider uninstalling EAM, rebooting twice and then reinstalling it? Have you had a look in Win Updates to see if anything is pending etc ?
  15. I think you would find David totally trustworthy, but I understand and respect your feelings about it. Are you on Win 10? What other security software do you run? Did this start after Win Updates?
  16. Would it be possible for you to consider placing Enter and Exit network lockdown mode on the right-click option of the EAM taskbar. It would then be so easy to get to it in an emergency. At the moment you have to enter Protection Status to get to it. Host or Application rules could make room for it.

    CLOSED Beta 9675

The tooltip on GUI doesn't give that impression. It says.... use in an malware emergency situation, OR simply block hidden programs going online. Here is a screenshot of my EAM usage when network lockdown is in place

Marko what are you system specs, Operating system and build etc? Are you using Windows Firewall? (so Frank doesn't have to ask )

    CLOSED Beta 9675

So after my little test of the network lockdown (Post 2) I have a couple of questions. Would a third party firewall see the disconnect as a threat? How would I use it to block hidden programs from accessing the internet? Do you mean single programs at install e.g CCleaner calling out, or do you mean something else?

    CLOSED Beta 9675

Network Lockdown works Easy enough to turn back on either via EAM taskbar icon or switch in the GUI itself. I use Windows Firewall by the way (Win 10 1903)
  21. Is the new Firewall status for all users, cloud connected and single users ?
  22. Please upload a copy of the ransom note along with an encrypted file to ID Ransomware so that you can verify which ransomware you are dealing with: You can paste a link to the results into a reply so that one of our experts can review them
