    CLOSED Beta 9922

Cold booted after update and seems be be ok so far
  2. Win 10 1909 64 bit, EAM dark mode. Fast boot off. Following on from the last beta I occasionally have a GUI issue. I booted up this morning and when I went to check EAM (opened via tra) I got the white GUI again. It returned to normal after managing to close it and open it again. Logs attached just in case they help. a2start_20200102044813(6520).zip
  3. Fair enough I guess marko. Just a personal thing.
  4. Well I don't agree with it (or Fabian ***stapp waves to him) Under Action in Forensics it says 'update finished' if you look at my screenshot. So that should be reflected timewise in what is seen in the tray ...the update has finished. I hover over my tray icon often to check updates are running OK. When it shows the update as an hour earlier than it should, then it is normal to think there is a problem.
  6. This is what I am talking about. There was an update check at 15.44 but no files were updated. But the tray shows the last update check was at 14.44

I do not believe for one moment that most users would know that they had to click 'new scan' to get rid of the 100% still scanning thing.
  8. If there are no updates to be downloaded, is it normal for the EAM tray when you hover over it to show that the last update was an hour earlier? For example at 14.33 there were no update files to be downloaded Forensics said, so the EAM tray when you hover says the last update was at 13.33 Surely an update, whether there were files to be downloaded or not, should show in the tray so users now it is working correctly ?
  9. I have done...quite a few times!! At one time an update would trigger a response in things which would stop the 'still scanning' thing. Now it doesn't.
  10. I don't think that a scan should stay at showing 100%. And I don't think people would automatically think ''Oh, I must click the new scan button or it will stay at 100%''
  11. Yes you are right, it was on Selected Components. Changed it and now I see 'scan finished'. Thing is marko, I'm sure I didn't change it, I always keep it at All components as I like to see everything Perhaps it happened when the GUI went crazy this morning after the beta update scan. The little red scan icon is still stuck on 100% though 😂

Frank also see issue here please
  13. marko tell me what I am missing here. As you can see according to my log scanning is still at 100% in left hand side and won't disappear until I reboot.
  14. What EAM build do you mean marko? In 9915 I don't get any scan finished entry!!!

Scan seems to be okay now, must have been on first run only it broke for me. EDIT... after scan is finished it still shows scan at 100% with red detections number until a reboot. Should it do that?

Just done it now and still have no problem.. sorry marko. At least it's cleared up my GUI problem above which I got while fiddling during a scan

    CLOSED Beta 9915

I'm not seeing event 16 errors marko and the Windows Security Center says EAM is in charge. (Win 10 64 bits 1909)
  18. Win 10 1909 after auto updates. I am using EAM dark mode. I see the red dot on left hand menu when scanning. So I decided to press the 3 line hamburger menu top. It seemed to break things and I cannot seem to get it back right. When I open the GUI now either I get no menu bar at the top or the scan on left hand menu seems to be stuck😭
  19. Just unwrapped it Frank...thanks
  20. Versuchen Sie es mit dem vollständigen Installationsprogramm, das an erster Stelle in der Liste steht
  21. Win 10 1909. Update went in smoothly.
  22. Please upload the files here and post the result.
  23. Win 10 1909 manually updated to 9869 ok.
  24. @JeremyNicoll Why do you have C:\Program Files\Emsisoft Internet Security and not C:\Program Files\Emsisoft Anti-Malware?
