  1. I get this message after the new update (Windows 7x64): Security Center has stopped working Problem signature: Problem Event Name: BEX Application Name: a2start.exe Application Version: Application Timestamp: 5136f7c1 Fault Module Name: a2framework.dll_unloaded Fault Module Version: Fault Module Timestamp: 517f8b41 Exception Offset: 03334100 Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Data: 00000008 OS Version: 6.1.7601. 2. Sorry for butting in, I was worried if I add a program to OA's exclusion list there wouldn't any firewall protection for that program, is this correct?
  3. It would be nice to have that setting on the "Host rules" page (just for Hosts files), or a way to selcect more then one rule at a time. Thank you.
  4. I imported a large hphost list, now how can I remove it? Click+shift does not work, to select the rules. There must be a way to do this instead of removing one at a time?
  5. You can actually take a look at the TCP/IP v4 settings in particular adapter settings If there's no static IP specified then you're using a dynamic IP. The bottom line about this is that if the traffic is disabled during boot then windows cannot receive arp packets and therefor cannot identify the DHCP server to use. This is not an issue at all as the feature "Block all network traffic" is meant to block all traffic. The side-effect you're seeing can be solved by specifying a static IP address on your machine and a DHCP reservation on your router. (e.g. reservation of the IP you specified to match the MAC address of the network interface you're connected to the router with). ~ andrewf This worked, thanks for your help.
  6. I appreacate incorperating the "Block all network traffic after re-boot" But it is annoying, when i restart the computer after selecting this option, no connection when disableing "Block all network traffic after re-boot" . Another firewall handles this correctly (set to block all, reboot then click allow most= instant connection.) Please fix this. Windows 7 x 64.
  7. Make sure OA is checked in software compatibility in SBIE, also Chrome is trusted in OA. Noticed in your signature your using Comodo firewall, I hope not with OA at the same time as that would cause lots of problems.
  8. Well then Banking mode is just fluff.
  9. I just tested Banking mode (version .1616) and I can load www.foxnews.com in my browser while in "banking mode" (no proxy).
  10. Are these hard coded "allow sites", allowed in advance mode even if "allow trusted programs to connect" is unchecked?
  11. OA/Sandboxie with SRWare Iron, can confirm Iron will not connect.
  12. It does seem like Emsisoft want's to dilute Online Armor Firewall to melt into EAM, I don't like way Emsisoft is handling Online Armor. After using Premium + EAM for awhile there is a lot of overlap compared with OA++ It would be possible to make OA++ an excellent product, But EAM is the precious baby of Emsisoft, they have to work it in some how, even if it degrades OA++. As said in the old forums when Mike Nash owned OA "it will only go down hill after the sell". I love when I am right. People, excluding the Japanese strive toward "short term gains, and goals", maybe we should look the other way (what matters in the long run)?
  13. Thanks Cat and Christian, everything is fine now!
  14. So now I have 2 keys (3 if you count OA++) that wont work with the combined package, would have been nice to be notified.
  15. I did not know this, I installed both separate that was what I found a week-ago (two separate products), this has changed since then? Would have been nice to have a notification email.
  16. Just ran into a problem, re-booted and all of EAM were disabled. What's up with this? I notice in the past that windows action center was alerting me that I had no anti-virus installed, but I opened EAM and said it was protecting. All the latest versions installed ( EAM, OA
  17. When will these two products be merged together ("Emsisoft Internet Security Pack") into one .exe?
  18. Must say after being a OA++ user from way back, I like the combo of premium and EAM. Very nice!
  19. Thank you, that's all I needed a simple answer. I will give that a try!
  20. All you have to do is install AdMuncher and Manutu on a system with windows 7 64bit, and you will see. Emsisoft has been advertising Admuncher as recommended, so I would expect that both programs would run side by side .
  21. "but definitely the developers know better & will reply" Where are they?
  22. Thank you, I use OnlineArmor++ and that is it. I know it is not OA because AdMuncher is working fine now because I dont have Mamutu installed. Only stops working if Mamutu is installed.
