Ok , done that.
Thanks again for your help.

Okay, thank you for you're time Kevin.
Good to know that my laptop isn't infected.
EDIT: Went today to askvg.com and I no longer get the Cloudfare warning message.
So it seems that is fixed on their side.

Hi Kevin,
With HTTPS Everywhere disabled I get the same Cloudfare message.
Attached is the Fixlog.txt.

When ging to askvg.com I get a security warning from cloudfare that I have to complete a CAPTCHA before I can access that site.
Why do I have to complete a CAPTCHA?
Completing the CAPTCHA proves you are a human and gives you temporary access to the web property. What can I do to prevent this in the future?
If you are on a personal connection, like at home, you can run an anti-virus scan on your device to make sure it is not infected with malware.
If you are at an office or shared network, you can ask the network administrator to run a scan across the network looking for misconfigured or infected devices. So now I have the question is my laptop infected?
I have attached the required files.

It uses the same behavior blocker as Internet Security. Only differance is that EIS has a Firewall.
So in your opinion Emsisoft Anti-Malware should have performed the same in this test?
That is great news to hear for someone who uses Anti-Malware

Hi Chris,
Thank you for taking the time to register and respond to my question.
For me as Emsisoft user it is very disappointing to see them gone from your tests.
I understand and respect that you and Fabian can't go into any details because of the MNDA.
Wishing you all the best for 2015!
-
Okay I can understand that and thanks for answering anyway.

Why is Emsisoft not tested in the Q3 2014 test?
You did so well in Q2.

Hello,
Could you please try to reproduce the issue and PM me debug logs ?
You can find the instructions how to do this at:
Thank you in advance,
Sorry today after re-enabling monitoring in the WAC and enabling debugging I can't reproduce the issue anymore, not after 4 reboots.
So it seems that the issue is resolved after all with the latest updates.
Thanks for your hard work and great support.

Thanks, I can confirm this issue is fixed on Windows (10) Technical Preview. I was unsure because the version remained 9.0.0.4570.
Unfortunately after another reboot the issue is back again

Hello,
a new beta update was released today to fix this WAC issue. The stable release of this update will be released in the next 24 hours.
Thanks, I can confirm this issue is fixed on Windows (10) Technical Preview. I was unsure because the version remained 9.0.0.4570.
-
Thanks. If for some reason it isn't fixed, I would like to ask you to send in a set of debug logs. You can follow the same instructions I posted for nine9s.
Unfortunately it is not fixed on the 2 laptops from my kids.
I have mailed you the debug logs from all 3 laptops in my household.

We don't support pre-release versions of Windows. Could be that Microsoft changed the way applications have to register with the Windows Action Center as they did in almost every new Windows version since XP.
Yeah, I know, just wanted to let you know anyway. Will see if the problem is solved on my kids laptops that are running 8.1 and report back.

The beta update from today (9.0.0.4570) unfortunately didn't fix this issue for me on Windows Technical Preview.
Emsisoft Anti-Malware & Emsisoft Internet Security 9.0.0.4570 – with BETA updates enabled:
- Fixed an occasional issue where the taskbar icon disappeared after a reboot.
- Fixed an occasional issue where Windows Security Center did not recognize EAM/EIS.
- Fixed an occasional crash bug during update.

Is the current stable version of EAM compatible with the Windows update for "Meltdown"
in Emsisoft Anti-Malware Home

Maybe @slopes doesn't use an ad blocker?
I see brightinfo.com blocked by uBlock Origin on my laptop using chrome (and no alert from Emsisoft AM)
