  1. Ok. I'll look into it, but if it's too complicated, I may just keep dragging the window around when I need to see something that isn't showing. But, thank you for your time and patience with me. I really do appreciate it!
  2. It is 64 bit. I'm not disputing your word but this program is the only one that does this. Could it still be a Windows problem when it does this with just one program? I don't know. I'm just asking and I hope you don't mind my asking.
  3. I tried 100% and it fit but everything was so small that it made it hard to read. I'll just keep dragging the windows around when I need to see more and keep hoping that something fixes it. Thanks anyway.
  4. I did this and then rebooted but it didn't help. If I want to see the whole screen, I still have to drag the window around to see it all and I can't see it all at once then.
  5. It's not doing it now but when it did, it was doing it after several restarts. I was like you, I thought maybe restarting it would help it but it didn't. It's still working as it should now. Maybe it will keep it up.
  6. As it turned out, I didn't have to do this. For some strange reason, it must have fixed itself. There was several times I rebooted and got the renewal screen. I didn't do anything different than I had been doing and it suddenly stopped on it's own. I don't know why but I'm glad it did. Now if my other problem would fix itself, I would be happy!
  7. This didn't help either. In fact, astart was setup with the disable DPI scaling checked. I guess I'll have to keep dragging the windows so I can see what I'm doing.
  8. I tried this but it didn't help. I can take drag the screen until I can see what I need to see when I do my scans, etc.
  9. Screen is too large again! I received a pop-up notification a few minutes ago that a new update had been applied so I rebooted after I had read the blog. Once it had loaded, I tried to run my scan and the screen is so large I can't even see what I have it set up to scan. It was working so good until the update had applied to my original post about the screen being too big. This makes me want to go back to the version before all of this started until my license expires! I don't want to have to uninstall it again! Is there not going to be a fix for this?
  10. Now each time I start up my computer, a renewal screen comes up with choices of Change license, renewal, and other things even showing my license number. I have to go through the process as if I had just entered the license number even though I still have 200 something days left before it is time to renew. This is getting old. For years, I did not have problems with this software and now all of a sudden, it seems like it is making up "for lost time". How do I stop this?
  11. And it's still working after several updates, and Windows updates. I tried to scan each time it updated and rebooted and it opened as it should. Something like this just bugs me until I find a fix. I was hoping I wouldn't have to uninstall and install it again but at least it fixed it. I'll be sure to let you know if it starts back doing it again. Thank you for your time and trying to help me.
  12. Got it fixed! I uninstalled it and installed it again and that fixed it!!!!! It is showing normally now and now I can run a scan!
  13. It is 1280x1024 and my DPI is set to 150%. Yes, that's high but at least I can see it and it's been working great before today. I'm running Windows 7 Pro. I didn't make any changes before this started. It worked perfectly last Monday when I did my scan and all the times before then. As I stated earlier, everything else displays as it should.
  14. I tried to scan my computer this morning with Emsisoft Anti-Malware Home and the screen was so big once it opened, I couldn't find anything to click on to start the scan. I can't close it normally because it isn't showing either because of the screen size being too big. I have to close that window by using the Task Manager. I went to properties and the shortcuts are set for minimum screen and there is nothing any smaller to choose from. Last week when I ran the same scan, it displayed as it should where I can click on whatever I need to but not this week. I tried changing more settings, rebooting, and nothing has changed it back to normal. The "disable display scaling on high DPI settings" is checked as it has always been but nothing will make it show what it needs to. Everything else is displaying as they should so why isn't this program? What is going on and how do I fix it?
  15. I upgraded Firefox to 66.0.2 this morning and the same thing tried to happen. But, this time I just clicked on "it was safe" and then everything kept working as it should. The last update I clicked on "ok" when it told me it was going to quarantine something because it had never happened before so I was afraid not to click on "ok". But, this morning it didn't bother me one bit to tell it it was safe. It still seems rather strange since it hasn't happened in the past until the last update.
  16. It may have been that but I've never had this problem before when I've updated Firefox and I was using Emsisoft Malware also is why it was so puzzling.
  17. I don't know what happened and why but it is working now. I went into Quarantined and nothing was there. So, I cleaned out my temp files, etc and rebooted and now it's working and shows the updated version 66.01.
  18. I tried to update Firefox to version 66.0.1. It started installing and then Emsisoft Anti-malware stopped it. It asked me whether to trust it or quarantine it and since it has not done this before, I thought I should quarantine it first and then try to find out what and why this is happening. I checked the log files and it states "Suspicious behavior of Helper.exe", and is labeled as malware. It also states: " Behavior Blocker detected suspicious behavior "CodeInjector" of "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\updated\firefox.exe" A notification message "Suspicious behavior has been found in the following program: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\updated\firefox.exe" has been shown. Medium risk Malware "Behavior.CodeInjector" in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\updated\firefox.exe" quarantined A notification message "Suspicious behavior has been found in the following program: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\updated\firefox.exe" has been shown What is going on and what should I do about it?
  19. I would rather just go out and purchase one myself rather than having to deal with AT&T. I've had to do that before and that was when I said, "Never again!". Lesson learned the hard way.
  20. At the time I posted the thread in EIS, I thought it was just a modem because that's how it is labeled on the bottom of it. But, I have another one with the same model # but it is labeled modem/router so I pulled it out and started using it instead. I just figured it should do as well as the modem did all of these years but I could be wrong.
  21. I went back and checked and didn't see any of those settings you recommended for me to turn off. As for the ISP updating the firmware, if they do, I don't know it because I haven't had to reset or do anything that concerned the router/modem. But, it's worked all of these years without giving me problems so maybe it will continue with Microsoft firewall and EAM installed. Thanks for your help!
  22. I'm satisfied with the speed it is now. I have a fast assess account and the speed this modem/router does is fine with me. I've been with them so long, I don't remember what speed I'm suppose to get. Yes, AT&T has a user forum. That is where I had asked this question before was the AT&T forum. https://forums.att.com/t5/AT-T-Internet-Equipment/Westell-Wirespeed-modem-routers/td-p/5254445 and got no replies. I have no complaints. I just wanted to make sure I would have enough protection using EAM & Microsoft firewall instead of another software firewall. I went back into the modem settings and it has a backup/restore menu so I backed up the configuration for it but I will also do as you suggested and take screen shots of them and save them.
  23. That would be a problem if I have to contact AT&T. I hate just the thoughts of doing that and then they won't help me but try to sell me another modem/router. I know this for a fact because they have tried it before and I told them, I didn't need a new one because I have 3 that work fine and obviously, I didn't purchase a new one. They wouldn't tell me a thing because they would lose a sell if they helped me with this one. I guess you and many others have figured out I'm from the "ole school" that says, "if it ain't broke don't fix it". These days the way they make everything, these that I already have will probably outlast a new one if I purchased one today. I appreciate all of your help, your time and patience with me. Thank you very much!!!!
  24. Ok. I've downloaded them so I will look at them too.
