  1. Just reinstalled CLS and noticed that there are some files that have modification dates in the future. This is making my Resilio sync freak out since it's based on date and time stamps. Is it normal for certain files to have future modified dates? My system time when the attached screenshot was taken was 1/14/2017 4:51PM. Thanks!
  2. Thanks for the reply! Not sure. I'll watch for this and let you know. Thx!
  3. Hi All! After installing EEK, when running an update via command line, it looks like it's downloading signatures but a few will say "source segment length larger than dictionary" and they all only ever show 0Kb (0%) of (file size). Is this proper? I see this behavior on multiple pcs. See attached screenshot. Thx! Mike
  4. Hi All, When I run the command line scanner and it comes back "Found: 20, Removed: 10", what exactly is happening? What is the reason it's not removing them all? Thanks! Mike
  5. Hi All, Was wondering if /rk needs to be explicitly added when choosing /smart or is it included? Maybe a better question is, what switches are included when /smart is used (if any)? Thanks! Mike
  6. Hi! A couple of questions... First, will the EEK CLS run properly if UAC is disabled? Second, I've seen you direct users to the standalone CLS when they experience issues with the EEK version. Does that version require a license or will it run without? Thanks! Mike
  7. Sorry, was referring to them in reverse but proper files went to proper folders. Ok, so as you suggested in your reply to my log file email, I replaced sfc_os.dll too and EEK started without error! It applied about 35Mb worth of updates and then I chose to do a Custom scan of the C: only and disabled scanning of archive files. Scan completed successfully and found infected items which I was able to remove and exit EEK. I think it's working properly. Thanks for all your help!
  8. Yes, 32bit version was already in System32 folder. I added the 64bit version to SysWoW folder just in case. Does it make sense that you were seeing that the dll was missing yet I am seeing it in the System32 folder? I can make you another log regardless.
  9. Another update: While in the PE environment, I tried copying the EEK folder from the PE Y: drive to the C: drive and running it. Same results.
  10. Just noticed too that if I try to launch CommandLine Scanner from the launcher, the .bat file window opens and says that I don't have a valid license required to start the app and then closes when I press any key.
  11. Thanks for the reply! The error occurs in either case. Mike
  12. Hi All, I'm trying to use EEK in a Win 8.1 PE but when launched it throws the error: "Program error: The required file a2framework.dll can not be found. The program can not work correctly without it. Do you want to start the program without it anyway?" Clicking YES will launch the app but updating fails and scans won't complete. This is a fresh download of EEK as of today and the a2framework.dll is definitely in the Run folder. Any thoughts? Mike
