  1. @GT500, i would say thank you to your team for update EIS compatible with Windows 10. Currently i find no issue at all, but i will keep my eye on it.
  2. Thanks for the update, and now i have to send my key to GT500 for extended days due to Windows 10 incompatible down time.
  3. Thanks, also do you have any status that when EIS up to go on Windows 10?
  4. Same here, i don't want to waste 7 days or more due to this down time. They should give us extended days as compensate.
  5. That's a great idea that i'm about to ask them as well, but you have to ask Emsisoft staffs about that.
  6. Give Emsisoft staffs a week or two so they can update the firewall core on Emsisoft Internet Security compatible for Windows 10. Other than that you can use Emsisoft Anti Malware as temporarily or Windows Defender.
  7. I would like to point out that Emsisoft is working on getting update firewall on Emsisoft Internet Security, so only Emsisoft Anti Malware and Emsisoft Emergency Kit will work on Windows 10. However, if you want to use Emsisoft Internet Security you will have to disable Emsisoft firewall and use Windows firewall as a temporarily until Emsisoft update the firewall on Emsisoft Internet Security. You can find the article here and list of Windows 10 compatible security here .
  8. Sweet! I'm currently using Windows defender(temporarily) and MBAE. Also, does emsiclean work on Windows 10 as well?
  9. "All scanning and malware protection features work well in the latest version (10.0.0.5561), but there is still a glitch with a certain firewall feature. Our development team is on it and will provide a fully operational beta version throughout the day." Will that make the users vulnerable if the firewall is not fully 100% functions?
  10. EIS is incompatible with Windows 10 atm, due to Microsoft KEEPS breaking Emsisoft firewall core. I would just wait and use Windows defender temporarily until Emsisoft staffs say everything is good to go.
  11. Alright, but if you have any information when Emsisoft products going to support official Windows 10 please let me know, because i been using Emsisoft Internet Security for about a year with minimum issue so i would like to continue using your product.
  12. Thanks, and will Emsisoft Emergency Kit support Windows 10 on the lauch day as well?
  13. I got couple of questions need to answer before installing Windows 10 to prevent any major or critical conflicts. 1) Any date or any information that Emsisoft will support Windows 10 on the lauch day? Because i will setup my Windows 10 within 1 or 2 day. 2) Do i have to shut down protection modules and turn off self protection before setup Windows 10? Thanks for the help and appreciate it.
  14. If you believe Emsisoft detect it as a false positive, feels free to report false positive through Emsisoft via http://support.emsisoft.com/forum/58-false-positives/.
  15. I was not going to reply to this thread because i don't know if Mike just trolling or maybe mistype somewhere? Also, GT500 how am i abuse him? All i point out that there's nothing say about January 12,2015 which is literary doesn't make sense that Microsoft drop Windows 8 after 2014, i would like you to take your warning point back sir because i will not accept it.
  16. First of all, none of them actually say January 2015 so i think you are misreading somewhere because the way you are saying are not making any sense that Microsoft drop Windows 8 in New Year month. " Windows 8.1 falls under the same lifecycle policy as Windows 8, and will reach end of Mainstream Support on >>>>January 9, 2018<<<, and end of Extended Support on January 10, 2023. With the General Availability of Windows 8.1, customers on Windows 8 have 2 years, until >>>>>January 12, 2016<<<<, to move to Windows 8.1 in order to remain supported." None of them said January 2015 buddy.
  17. I think you got the wrong information, here is the correct information https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/search/default.aspx?alpha=Windows%208
  18. As far i can tell that Emsisoft behavior blocker will kick in when an application try to modify your registry.
  19. If it's a malware PDF file, then yes it will effect the system as .exe file. Any malware files you download from the internet it will effect the system, it doesn't matter what extension it have.
  20. Peter2150, i wll try to run those tool when i have free time, but can i just send the logs to you guys instead of posting here? I don't feels like to share what i have on my drives to everyone.
  21. GT500, please take a look at post #2 because his problem is same as mine. When he update to .5144, his and my internet connection and the browser get delay. So this mean, that there's something wrong with the update that causing this delay. Matter of fact, i will revert back to previous as this one is unstable and ridiculous waiting time for me. Update: I revert it back to stable .5409, seems like it solve my delay internet connection and browser.
  22. I even uninstall Malwarebytes Anti Exploit, and it still did not solve my issue. Matter of fact, not only me are having this issue there's also 3 peoples in this forum that have the same issue as i had.
  23. GT500, thanks for the suggestion. However, it did not solve my case so i assume is this beta update causing my internet connection delay from 1 second to at least 2 minutes at the log in screen through the desktop. Usually, my internet connection will establish once the log in screen appear on my Windows 8.1, and right now i have to wait like atleast 2 minutes on the desktop for the establish internet connection. Also, the browser seems to be little laggy as well, because i have to wait atleast 10 seconds to type smoothly on the Google address bar or else it will be laggy withing 8 seconds. So please, fix this immediately.
