  1. Good to go. Just like you said. Update and reboot. So it will be 2 reboots. The first one after the software update and then when you come back update again and reboot. Loop is gone just like you said.
  2. Here's what I did. uninstall Emsisoft Internet Security. Obtain the latest download for it and install that. Then switch to the beta updates again and update. Worked for me.
  3. After the most recent beta Emsisoft keeps having to update over and over. it keeps asking to restart over and over. Running Windows 10 64 bit. By the way today was patch tuesday for Microsoft so that may have broken something.
  4. I am happy to say that Emsisoft Internet Security is fully up and running for me. However, I did have to enable the beta updates which I did at my own risk because as you can see, they do say, only do it if you can handle the problems that a not fully tested beta may cause but it is working for me on WIndows 10 64-bit. OS Windows 10 64-bit CPU AMD 965 Black Edition GPU Nvidia 660TI Storage SSD 256 Crucial M550
  5. "....and will Emsisoft extend EIS subscriptions by the period of time it takes for them to make the firewall usable again?" Great idea to bring up as I was wondering the same thing.
  6. I also thought that it was solved this way but, when I checked the network that it was supposedly monitoring, it was blank and then just to be sure, I checked my Ethernet adapters and I noticed that Emsisoft network filter was not present like it should be. That's the problem they are dealing with and hopefully a solution will come out soon, as I just bought a $50 license within the last 3 weeks. Recently, I read that they are putting out some betas that may deal with the problem. So, you might want to check that out.
