False positives by Anti-malware are really annoying. This morning CyberGhostVPN client detected as Trojan. Here is the report. a-squared Anti-Malware - Version 4.5 Last update: 11/3/2009 6:39:31 AM Scan settings: Scan type: Deep Scan Objects: Memory, Traces, Cookies, C:\, E:\, F:\ Scan archives: On Heuristics: Off ADS Scan: On Scan start: 11/3/2009 7:36:33 AM C:\Users\............\AppData\Local\Temp\CGVPNPatch400.exe detected: Trojan-Banker.Win32.Banker.aomf!A2 Scanned Files: 110044 Traces: 548339 Cookies: 0 Processes: 30 Found Files: 1 Traces: 0 Cookies: 0 Processes: 0 Registry keys: 0 Scan end: 11/3/2009 8:28:55 AM Scan time: 0:52:22 C:\Users\................\AppData\Local\Temp\CGVPNPatch400.exe Quarantined Trojan-Banker.Win32.Banker.aomf!A2 Quarantined Files: 1 Traces: 0 Cookies: 0 This made me to uninstall VPN client unnecessarily. I have posted a thread in CyberGhostVPN (SAD-Forum) about this. http://www.sad-forum.de/board/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=1892e2825bdc And A-Squared is the only Security Software to erupt a False Positive. http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/97ddc5fcbed0ffe5e0eaaef30bd2cc4f184fe417ca23fa99fea5b0906c41dd2d-1257236519 This actually killed my time and Anti-Malware took a long time to revoke its false positive. Please look into this. Thanks.
