My friend just called me to say that his laptop was infected by some kind of ransomware and he is on the way of coming to my office for help, and I will ask a quick question before he is here and let me run your procedures on his laptop and upload the files you need. The question is that am I allowed to re-install the PC's system or not? it will make things worse or what? Thanks wayne
