  1. Thank you so much! The instructions at the link worked like a charm!
  2. Hi, I need help. I can't install the new version of EEK. I can't delete the EEK folder. I get an error message saying the epp.sys file is being used by/open in another program. However, I have nothing open that could be using it. I've rebooted twice now, followed the pop-up window directions that said to close all my open programs, when I had none open, and to reboot and then install EEK. But I still get the same error message that it's open and/or being used by some program. Out of desperation, I deleted all the other sub-folders and files within the EEK folder, hoping that would somehow allow me to delete the epp.sys file. It didn't. When I check permissions for the eek.sys file, it says all forms of me, I'm the only user, and me as the Administrator, have full permissions to do stuff with this file. I'm running Windows 10 on my C drive, and have Windows 7 on my D drive. I don't use the Windows 7, but I don't want to remove it, either. One time I had trouble with Windows 10 not being able to load and function, but I was able to get on with Windows 7 and proceeded to figure out what was wrong and fixed it. I can't find a trace of EEK anywhere else, on either drive, other than the EEK folder I'm trying to delete now. That one shows up on my C drive when I open File Manager/Explorer. EEK doesn't show up in the list of programs that I could uninstall using the uninstall programs function. What do I do? Now I have no EEK to use to scan and protect my computer. One time last Summer I somehow got infected with a difficult to remove, really bad chunk of malware and EEK was a very important part of getting rid of it. I love EEK!
