I am curious when Emsisoft will be in compliance so that I can get my Windows 10 machines patched with this update. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4056892/windows-10-update-kb4056892 Due to an issue with some versions of Anti-Virus software, this fix is only being made applicable to the machines where the Anti virus ISV has updated the ALLOW REGKEY. Contact your Anti-Virus AV to confirm that their software is compatible and have set the following REGKEY on the machine Key="HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE"Subkey="SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\QualityCompat" Value Name="cadca5fe-87d3-4b96-b7fb-a231484277cc" Type="REG_DWORD” Data="0x00000000”
  4. Hi, Sorry for the lack of response on my part. Due to this and the false positives that I was getting, we had to push off testing and purchasing Emsisoft for the moment. We may revisit down the road. So for now, we went back to what we were using prior. Sorry I was not able to get you the rest of the information that you were looking for. Thanks for your help1

  7. Hi, Testing out EAM on my job. Results of one endpoint scan are seen here in the screenshot. However whether or not I click on delete or quarantine nothing happens. Please advise. Thanks!

  9. I assume you guys are just using port 80 for downloads? Or maybe 443? When I go to download the client for deployment it goes to 2% and then stops. Server 2012 R2 running the latest version of the console. Thanks!
  10. Hi everyone, I did hear from David from Emsisoft. Turns out, the reason for this, is because Windows 10 sets your default network to "Public", thus the reason for my issue. I wish I had gone through the entire Emsisoft gui prior to posting here (and creating a ticket). Would have avoided everyone's time. Just wanted to thank David for his quick response and to also say sorry for the bother. I should have went through the entire GUI of EIS prior to posting here. Hope this helps someone else down the road! Cheers!
  11. For anyone else that may run into this issue, this is what fixed it for me. When I went to Protection\Firewall I noticed that Trusted Network Traffic was listed as Private Networks which is legit since it is my home (wired) connection. Then I noticed Manage Networks. Low and behold my NIC was set to Public Network vs. Private Network which of course did not make sense to me. In any event, made the change to Private Network, rebooted and BOOM! I am connected to my work VPN and was able to RDP into my servers. Sorry for jumping the gun! Cheers!

  14. Hi guys, I am unable to connect to my work VPN. We just have a Windows VPN so nothing fancy. I know it is EIS because if I disable EIS, I can connect with no issue. Ultimately I need to VPN into my work and then RDP into servers at my job. Help please? Thanks!
