SquirmyElk2 started following Active Subscription?

I just renewed my License to Emsisoft Anti Malware and I noticed that the license changed from days left to "Active Subscription". Can I undo this to where the license says (Days left)? Also, I cannot stop auto renewal on My Emsisoft.

Emsisoft takes long to initialize an update
SquirmyElk2 posted a topic in Emsisoft Anti-Malware Home
For some reason, it seems as if as of 6:02:37 PM EST, it takes about 1 minute and 27 seconds to about 1 minute and 56 seconds to finish completely. They seem to take more than a minute to simply initialize the update. I know not if the problem is relevant to my computer or the servers. A power outage happened in my area recently, and may be somewhat relevant. -

(Absurdist nonsense) You know, some other antivirus software has browser extensions (that come with the software) and there are even extensions on the chrome store that block sites. I wonder if it would be a good idea if there was a browser extension that came with Emsisoft. I don't even know how to use the hosts file. I do know where it is located, however.

Auto-Game Mode Enabled/Disabled In Logs
SquirmyElk2 replied to SquirmyElk2's topic in Emsisoft Anti-Malware Home
Good call, sir. That does seem to be a decent idea. Sometimes I feel irritated because of strange things I have never noticed before, especially if they cause clutter. The only way I know of fixing my problem (answering my own question) so far is to uncheck "Core" from the "View" dropdown. However, I don't like turning that off since I commonly check the time my PC starts up or shuts down through these logs (Actions of "Shutdown Received" and "Protection Started"). -
Auto-Game Mode Enabled/Disabled In Logs
SquirmyElk2 replied to SquirmyElk2's topic in Emsisoft Anti-Malware Home
That is not the problem. This is: As you can see, these notifications appear every time I open and close a fullscreen application. It can cause clutter in the logs (if I did not search for "auto-game"). This never happened before. Don't mind the multiple "Auto-Game Mode Disabled" from 5:43:45 upward, it is just something I did. I am (and have been) aware that game mode starts when a fullscreen application is active. It is just that I never saw any sort of logs until now. -
After this update, I occasionally saw "Auto-Game Mode Enabled" and "Auto-Game Mode Disabled" appear in the logs (usually after starting or closing a game). I do not know if it is due to the update or the fact that I imported my general software settings (where such a setting is not found). It does not occur every time i start and close a game. It even happens when I put a YouTube video in Fullscreen. I would like to understand what this is and if this is intended (one of the minor tweaks). These actions were never logged before. These logs can cause clutter if there are too many of them s

Cannot Export nor Import Host Rules

Thank goodness it has been confirmed that this is a bug. I feel better now. -
Cannot Export nor Import Host Rules
SquirmyElk2 replied to SquirmyElk2's topic in Emsisoft Anti-Malware Home
Thanks for the reply, sir. I accidentally disabled FIle Guard and later re enabled it. I doubt that has anything to do with it, but it is possible. I am just a very paranoid individual. I just want things to work as best as possible (if at all). -
The last time I exported my settings, my Host Rules (a2user.dat) no longer exports. This means Surf Protection will no longer export nor import its rules. Is this intentional? What exactly were the other fixes and tweaks that the blog post did not disclose of? Was this one of them?
-
Yes, I do understand why Application Rules was merged with Behavior Blocker (Since I bothered to read the blog post). However, I do not understand why the Allow and Block behavior checkboxes are missing in the Application Rule box (when you modify one). Were they useless? I also think it would be a good idea if the Behavior Blocker tab was the first one you see when you open the Protection tab (Like Application Rules before).

Why are logs migrated into forensics?
SquirmyElk2 replied to SquirmyElk2's topic in Emsisoft Anti-Malware Home
Sometimes, the forensics log does not give enough information. For example, the File Guard logs/tab say(s) if something was quarantined by rule, while forensics does not. I also find it awkward that you cannot create (export) separate logs for each tab anymore. It forces me to rely on digging in a forensics log to find what I need. -
This new design is quite awkward, and I beleive it should be an optional feature if possible (have the other tabs be restored/keep the other tabs, keeping the view dropdown in forensics in tact). I wonder why this change was made.
