  1. I wouldn't know. fairly large organisation. I'm assuming they have their own virus detection software on that server. It may have been flagged at one point and then just kept it as a malware directory. This will affect a lot of people if it's not rectified.
  2. You seriously don't know what GoDaddy is? It's a website/domain provider. Google will help you with that... Anyone using the site builders for their service, any images that are added to the site, are from img1.wsimg.com which is their image servers. The fact that it's a false positive for Emsisoft will need to be addressed, which I'll submit to them in the other forum.
  3. It's Godaddy. all images come from that server. just right click and view source code.
  4. I want to open this one back up. I have my site www.mcfarlandit.ca and Emsisoft is flagging it on several computers for IMG1.WSIMG.COM. I can set it to not block it, but it might be problematic if they don't select it. It blocks all images and doesn't load anything properly. I can either whitelist the whole site or just IMG1.WSIMG.COM to allow it to work again. Any updates on this ?
  5. I have to inform customers to get Bitdefender for mac because I can't get them Emsisoft. This would be a great option if EAM was cross-platform.
  6. Not a huge fan of the new settings panel, but I'll get used to it.
  7. looks like Windows 10 Build 17134.165 according to that kernel version.
  8. What Elise said. It's an example. I've seen many many real examples of that as well. Most of the time RCMP need to investigate something on someone's computer is that reason, or other hate crimes, or online-predators.
  9. Trust me. If Cyber forensics wanted to find your child porn and other nasty stuff on your machine, there would be a lot more places to find it than your Antivirus. and Emsisoft I trust 100% with what it stores and doesn't store. Personally I don't care.
  10. the "CDN" thing threw me off. thought he meant Canada lol.
  11. I'm using the same server. no issues with downloading it. downloaded it full speed. sounds like an issue with your ISP or network.
  12. So i have this client with EAM MAV installed on their computer. I'll see every other day or so, when Emsisoft runs scans, it keeps picking up these entriesKey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432NODE\MICROSOFT\TRACING\HPSF_TASKS_RASAPI32 Application.Win32.InstallExt (A) [270559]Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432NODE\MICROSOFT\TRACING\HPSF_TASKS_RASMANCS Application.Win32.InstallExt (A) [270560] it removes them and then I'll see the damn thing come back later one with the same scan, removes, repeats.I'm not finding a lot of informative information on the net in regards to this. i've run JRT, Adwcleaner, hitman, etc. I can't see what else is causing these entries. I'm thinking it's based on Microsoft's actual software/windows but not 100%. Can anyone else assist with shedding some light on this. If it's a false-positive I'll teach EAM to treat it as such. the rest of the computer is clean as a whistle.
