Cannot ping or tracert with firewall on

I reset the firewall to default settings just to be sure. Nothing changed. So I do not believe ping replies are disabled. -
Hello, Every time I try to ping or tracert with firewall on I get the following message. "General failure". When I disable the firewall, everything works normally. Is is normal behavior for the firewall? I'm using Windows 10.

Hello all, I've installed and uninstalled EAM multiple times hoping this problem would be eventually solved. However, perhaps it's my individual computer. I'm not sure. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit with a quad core Intel processor and 16 GB of RAM. When I'm booting my computer, before the welcome screen appears, this black screen shows up with a simple cursor. This can last from 5 to 15 seconds. It only happens when EAM is installed, although I have noticed this issue with a demo of Bit Defender as well. My first question is should I be concerned with this behavior? Secondly, is there any

Hello, I recently tried to install a trial of Emsisoft Anti-Malware. However, it says my trial has expired even though I don't recall ever installing version of the 8.0 trial before. I am very likely to buy license based on the great reviews. I just need to evaluate it on my computer for a few days to see if everything plays nicely with my computer. Is there anything I can do to even get a few days of trial time? Thanks!
