  1. I don't know if this is the right place for suggestions, but here goes. Maybe it would be nice that when looking at the Behavior Blocker tab, processes that are verified by the Anti-Malware Network get a check mark, or some other form of visual indication that they are verified. Currently to check if a process is verified by the Anti-Malware Network you have to right click the process, select "File properties" from the context menu, and scroll down in the text box. I think it would be really nice if the reputation was visible at a glance.
  2. Thank you for the reply. I take it there is no way to see if a file was detected by heuristic signatures or more specific signatures by looking at the detection name then, right?
  3. I've never seen malware with a detection name that would indicate that it was detected using heuristics, and I haven't found anything about heuristics on www.emsisoft.com, which leads me to wonder if Emsisoft uses them at all. Though I have seen detection names that would indicate that it is a broader, less specific signature (for example I've seen "Application.Downloader (A)" a number of times, each for different programs). Are those indicative that the file was detected by heuristics?
  4. My experience is that it indeed works in Chrome, like in your screenshot, however in Firefox browsers this is what it looks like after clicking it. (It does not change.) Note that all other features of the extension work as intended
  5. Hi, any update on this? As of now the issue persists, which is a shame, because I am unable to submit malicious websites I come across. If you need more information on this issue, I'm willing to help in any way I can.
  6. Well, I'm not really asking how, just what. Like I said, they've stated it before, that was just a long time ago. For example knowing that they detect crypto mining doesn't at all help malware developers. Knowing how, however, would, but again that's not what I'm asking
  7. I've been using Emsisoft for quite a while now, and something that has sparked my interest is the behavior blocker. In my time of using Emsisoft it has already detected multiple programs with different types of malicious behavior such as 'CodeInjector', 'CryptoMalware', 'BrowserSettingsChange' and 'AutorunCreation'. So I was wondering: what different types of malicious behavior does Emsisoft detect? I found this old blog post (https://blog.emsisoft.com/en/3466/behavior-blocker-how-it-works/) from 2012, but that was a long time ago and it has probably been updated since. Is there an updated list or a more recent documentation somewhere?
  8. That's correct. I think it started happening in Firefox 67 or 66, but I'm not sure exactly. Right now I'm using Firefox Nightly 70.0a1. I've already had this issue for a little while. Also note that I "refreshed" Firefox stable, to test if it wasn't some sort of incompatibility with other add-ons or something. The issue persists in a fresh Firefox install.
  9. Like the title says, the "Report this site as dangerous" option in the Emsisoft Browser Security add-on for Firefox is broken. After clicking it, it doesn't indicate that it has been clicked. I don't know if it's just a missing animation or if it actually doesn't submit the site. (If it does still actually submit the site, but it just doesn't show an animation, I apologize for spam clicking it on the same website multiple times in the hopes of seeing visual feedback.) As far as I know it doesn't work in any recent version of Firefox. I have tried it on the latest stable release of Firefox, and the Nightly version of Firefox. I have checked to see if the extension works in Chrome, and it does.
