  1. Hello, I am using Emsisoft through SyncroMSP. Due to a Syncro issue, Syncro issued a new Emsisoft license key for one client, who I have an existing workspace for in the Emsisoft Cloud Console. Is it possible to change the license key for the existing workspace? I can't see where to do this. Or do I need to create a new workspace with the new license? Thanks for looking.
  2. Hi Frank, I usually send clients a report at the middle of the month because I test and then install Windows updates in the second week of the month (Patch Tuesday). So that is when I am performing maintenance on the systems, so I also check backups, AV, etc at this time.
  3. Hello Emsisoft team, Thank you for the great cloud console and for all the features you continue to add. I am wondering if it would be possible to add more scheduling options to your timeline for the ECC. Currently, the options are End of Week, End of Month, and End of Year. It would be very helpful to have custom options like, e.g. Nth day of the month, second Friday of every month, etc. I am performing monthly checks for my clients toward the middle of the month, so I must go manually fetch the report and email it to them, because the End of Month report is out of date by then. Thank you for your consideration and happy holidays to the Emsisoft team!
  4. Understood. Will this apply the exclusion to the entire workspace? Or must it be done for each client. It would be convenient to be able to add registry exceptions pro-actively, long-term. Thanks for your help.
  5. Hello, I have several false positives for registry keys relating to group policies that prevent users from accessing Task Manager, Command Prompt, Registry Editor, etc. I am seeing quarantines such as: "Setting.DisableRegistryTools (A)" in "Value: HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-365083775-2236518244-184172837-1136\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURRENTVERSION\POLICIES\SYSTEM -> DISABLEREGISTRYTOOLS" How can I add reg entries as an exclusion? I am using the cloud console. I found the detection and checked the boxes to Restore and Add Exclusion, and the Restore worked but I am not seeing any Exclusion added. Also I only see options to exclude Files or Folders. How can I exclude reg keys? Thanks for looking.
  6. D'oh! I never even noticed the Permissions Policies! For some reason I assumed non-admins had read-only. BRB, going to change that for all clients right now! Thanks
  7. Hello, I am using ECC to manage Enterprise Security for several clients. Is it possible to disable the function that allows users to click "Wait, I think this is safe" when something suspicious is going on? Thanks. Second question (sorry to include two questions in one post): is there a report that can be viewed in ECC that will show recent detections? Thanks again. Love the product.
  8. Thank you for the reply. So Emsisoft is watching the DNS lookups?
  9. Hello, I was reviewing this thread from a couple years back. Basically, I am wondering if I should use a third-party DNS service with filtering, such as OpenDNS. Would this be pointless if I am also using Emsisoft? I believe Emsisoft filters malicious domains by monitoring DNS requests from the PC, anyway. Thoughts? Thanks for reading.
  10. It's here! https://syncromsp.com/emsisoft-mav-update-part-orders-enhancement/ Thank you to the Emsisoft and Syncro teams for this integration.
  11. Hi again, has there been any update from the Syncro team on this integration? Thank you!
  12. This just occurred to me: Can you predict what will happen to the license on the expiration date reported in the ECC? The instance currently shows as a Trial with 25 days remaining in the ECC, but from Syncro and from the program itself, the license shows as valid. Is it possible that I can simply continue to use the ECC past the expiration, or what is the prediction on what will happen? Thanks-- just looking for a work-around for now. ECC ^ Desktop program ^
  13. Hello, I hope this is the right place for this topic. We use the SyncroMSP platform for our RMM/ PSA solution. As you may know, Syncro is integrated with Emsisoft, so Emisosft licenses can be purchased and managed transparently from within Syncro. Meanwhile, we are testing the new Emsisoft Cloud Console. The problem is that when I connect Emsisoft instances that have been created/licensed from Syncro to the ECC, they show as unlicensed. I cannot apply the license key for the instances that I find at "Show License" in the program, as I receive error "The license you entered does not exist or is already registered with another user account or workspace." I expected this, because Syncro owns the license, not me. Thoughts on how to get this working? I will also engage with Syncro support but your team is faster and more clever 🙂 Thanks!! -Tim
