  1. Turns out just a simple reboot fixed the problem with the beta and the stable build! Thanks for the help!
  2. I updated to the 10065 beta and the issue still persists, I have also confirmed this is not a problem with the USB device itself.
  3. First off, I'd like to say thank you to the people who helped me get rid of the licensing bug in EEK. I downloaded the latest version of EEK, extracted it, and scanned with it, then I closed EEK and all File Explorer windows and tried to eject the USB, a prompt appeared telling me that the device is in use and to close any program or windows that's using the device. Problem is I closed all File Explorer windows and EEK, I tried again, still the same thing. I then went into This PC and tried to eject it from there, same thing, I ended up having to force eject by pressing continue on the prompt that appeared in This PC.
  4. I don’t have Emsisoft Anti-Malware installed.
  5. Today I learned that EEK was redesigned, I already had an older version of EEK on my USB, I thought I had to re-download EEK again, so I went to https://www.emsisoft.com/en/home/emergencykit/ and pressed the download button, once it extracted all the files, I launched it and tried to run a signature update, but a pop-up appeared saying, "Your Emsisoft Emergency Kit license has expired. Please click "OK" to open the license mode selection dialog." When I clicked OK it there were three options, Freeware, Enter a Pro license key and Buy a new Pro license key. But the Freeware license was grayed out, I never bought a Pro license key for EEK before, and I thought the Freeware license had no expiration date, so my question is do I have to buy a Pro license key and does the Freeware license expire?
