Windows 8 was scanning fine before I am worried I have a virus stopping it scanning or I bring too nervous

Have left it for days and restarted but it is stuck on 0% and will not go any further

i started a full malware scan but it stopped at 80% and will not restart is stuck now at 0% any ideas
