  1. Win 7 Home 64bit sp1 = OA Premium 5.0.0.1100, automatic update from 5.0.0.1097 Win XP Home 32bit sp3 = OA Premium 5.0.0.1097, no update available Emsisoft site says: Online Armor Firewall 5.0 30 day trial/freeware - Can be unlocked to an Online Armor Premium or Online Armor ++ full version by purchasing a license. Version 5.0.0.1097 - 4/6/2011 For Windows XP SP3 (32bit), Vista SP2 (32bit) and 7 (32bit & 64bit), 21 MB.
  2. Paragon Hard Disk Manager 2011 Suite and Paragon Drive Copy 11 Professional cannot be run, they hang on start. Adding them to OA Premium list of exclusions resolves the problem. Latest versions and servis pack of Win 7 x64, EAM, OA Premium and Spyshelter are installed.
  3. Neuro-programmer.exe and wmx.dll are not on Online Armor´s list of programs (option Hide trusted is not ticked).
  4. Program (Neuro-programmer 2 or 3) fails to start completely: --------------------------- Xenocode Postbuild 2010 --------------------------- The application was unable to load a required virtual machine component. Please contact the publisher of this application for more information. ---------------------------OK I use: OA 5, EAM 5.1, Spyshelter (latest), Win 7 x64 Created: 7.4.2011 22:05:17 Summary: Program Guard: vmx.dll Description: C:\Program Files (x86)\Neuro-Programmer 2\Neuro-Programmer 2.exe -> C:\Program Files (x86)\Xenocode\vmx.dll Event type: Program Guard(9) Event action: Blocked(3) Created: 6.4.2011 8:48:52 Summary: Program Guard: vmx.dll Description: C:\Program Files (x86)\Neuro-Programmer 3\Neuro-Programmer 3.exe -> C:\Program Files (x86)\Xenocode\vmx.dll Event type: Program Guard(9) Event action: Blocked(3)
  5. Online Armor premium silently (no popups) blocks Xenocode Postbuild 2010. So it´s impossible to run Neuro-programmer (NP can be load only if it´s added to OA exclusions list).
  6. http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2364198,00.asp Why is Emsisoft behavior blocker "simplistic making no distinction between valid programs and malware" and "it needs to aggregate multiple behaviors and make a clear distinction between malicious programs and valid programs that do some of the same things. ThreatFire 4.5 (Free, ) is an example of intelligent behavior-based malware protection, as is the SONAR 2 technology used in Norton."
  7. "If a page that is not a part of the block-list yet, and has some embedded malicious scripts, then what part of Anti-Malware will detect it?" I hope malicious scripts will be revealed on their execution - by file guard or behavior blocker (I use EAM as av solution), EAM doesn´t have common http scanner.
  8. Maybe these are stupid questions for you but: 1. Do you use File guard with "Scan all files when accessed" option? 2. Do you know behavior blocker (Emsisoft AM) isn´t hips like MD is and it blocks only dangerous behavior?
  9. I´m not a security expert. So I had to ask if Zemana Antilogger provides some special protection which Emsisoft´s Malware IDS doesn´t provide. That´s all. I´m not Zemana´s representative and not interested in their tests.
  10. Do A2 IDS and Mamutu provide SSL Logger protection, Clipboard Logger protection, Screen Logger protection and Webcam Logger protection? And are these features important?
  11. Does Zemana Antilogger offer something what A2 IDS and Mamutu doesn´t? Some features of ZA: *** copy of the features taken from Zemana site can be read there - therefore removed (see the reasons below) {Lynx}
  12. "Shutdown PC after scan" and "Check on Virustotal" features would be fine in A2 (at least in paid version).
