I do not use the program guard option. However, it is still affecting my system, but without any of the popups. I have encountered 3 different examples over the last few days:
1. When I try play Civlization V which plays through Steam the game will not load, but when I shutdown all Online Armor components or turn on the program guard the games works as usual (another game that I play through steam works fines without turning on the program guard):
2. Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 sp1 redrituable package come out last week as part of the lates windows updates would not install, either through windows update or downlaoding the individual file. All other updates installed (including Visual C++ 2008 and 2010 updates). I was only able to install it by shutting down online armor or turning on program guard.
3. The latest version of VLC video player came out last week and when I tried to install it my system would not first unistall the old version (automatically done as part of the install) or when I manually removed the program it would not install (it kept crashing) the program. Again as above I had to either shut down Online Armor or turn on program guard.
This never used to happen in version 4xx of Online armor, could this please be fixed.
Further, I uninstalled v4 of Online Armor through windows safe mode and installed v5 in windows normal mode.
