Fabian Wosar
The keylogger protection isn't bypassed at all. Every application is able to record the mouse pointer position relative to its window. The problem with Internet Explorer is that it makes those data available through a JavaScript interface to potentially untrusted scripts. While it would be possible to prevent Internet Explorer from obtaining these information it will break the browser in a huge way (it is no longer able to figure out where you clicked, so links, image maps and other things will stop working). So the solution, as with JavaScript based keyloggers, is to wait for the browser manufacturer to issue an update or switch to a browser that doesn't have these leaks to begin with.
