Adam Kadmon 0
Is Mamutu dead. I couldn't find it on your website.
Christian Peters 99
Hello, Mamutu is not dead and will be delivered already with updates. Please take a look on the Mamutu changelog. We decided to outsource Mamutu to his own website on http://www.mamutu.com . If you have any more questions or problems, just let us know.
bocl 0
Hello, Mamutu is not dead and will be delivered already with updates. Please take a look on the Mamutu changelog. We decided to outsource Mamutu to his own website on http://www.mamutu.com . If you have any more questions or problems, just let us know. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Changelog A changelog is a log or record of changes made to a project, [...]usually including such records as bug fixes, new features, etc. With all due respect, Sir, this is not a changelog ,is just signature /white list update on a Mamutu core which is dated Version 3.0.0.20 - 11/4/2011, so almost 3 years back. Is hard to convince any body that Mamutu is still under development....and with this "We decided to outsource Mamutu..." we can say "Amen". Sincerely, Claudiu B
Adam Kadmon 0
Well, I see in the logs that there have been component updates in January 2013. Unfortunately the custom rules still don't match the behaviour blocker components (see my post from August 2012: http://support.emsisoft.com/topic/8909-group-policy-changes-not-in-custom-rules/). Also Mamutu blocks "Total Uninstall" (http://www.martau.com/) from starting entirely even with Mamutu completely disabled - on Windows 8 x64 that is.
Fabian Wosar 390
Also Mamutu blocks "Total Uninstall" (http://www.martau.com/) from starting entirely even with Mamutu completely disabled - on Windows 8 x64 that is.Thanks, I will look into the problem. As a temporary workaround you can exclude Total Uninstall from being monitored by Mamutu by creating a new application rule and setting it to "Always allow application". Fabian Wosar 390
Unfortunately the Total Uninstall trial doesn't work when run inside a virtual machine. I have contacted the Total Uninstall author and asked for a time limited license to be able to look into this issue. I will update you as soon as I hear anything back. Adam Kadmon 0
No, it doesn't matter whether it's excluded or not. As soon as Mamutu's installed it won't start. Only fix so far is to uninstall Mamutu. It worked on Windows 7 - same Program version of TU.
Fabian Wosar 390
Just to make sure: This is exactly how it looks (including both executables being excluded) on your system and you are still unable to start TU?
Adam Kadmon 0
Excluded and even completely disabled. Even with Mamutu Service stopped there's no way to start it. This is not an urgent matter. I've uninstalled Mamutu and I'll be waiting for a new version.
Fabian Wosar 390
I just received a mail from Gavrila Martau with a Total Uninstall license. I will look into the issue shortly.
