I'd need a copy of an infected file to be able to say if EAM will detect it or not. If you have a copy that you can upload to VirusTotal, then please do so and then send me a link to the analysis.

Also, if you believe that your computer is infected, then I recommend following the instructions at this link. ;)

That's not saying that svchost.exe is infected, that is just informing you about potential uses for a file named svchost.exe. In this case, I seriously doubt that your copy of svchost.exe is infected, however you can verify this by running the System File Checker to check if any of your system files have been tampered with.

1st scan had files it could not repair,ran again and scan showed files repaired

Reboot ran sfc again,corrupt files found and repaired, repair complete.

I have ran 7 sfc's and it keeps repairing the same files and says repair complete after each scan?

edit did a reboot after each scan
