Fabian Wosar
It is normal. Firefox starts contacting your start page even before the GUI is visible, which we qualify as spyware behavior (contacting webservers without any visual clue). Firefox also uses a rather unorthodox TCP/IP based interprocess communication protocol, that looks like backdoor behavior to us. Firefox is usually whitelisted, but enabling paranoid mode disables most of the whitelists Firefox is included in. Also keep in mind that nightly builds as well as custom Firefox builds aren't included in any of our whitelists either.

Paul.R
Hi! Sorry for duble post!!! Emsisoft 8 will have Bitdefender 2014 SDK? Thanks. Have a nice day!
Fabian Wosar
Emsisoft 8 will have Bitdefender 2014 SDK?We don't use the normal Bitdefender SDKs as we only use the Bitdefender scan engine and none of their additional components like AVC that are part of the normal SDK. That being said, we always use the latest scan engine that is being used within the normal Bitdefender products as well.
