Whitelist- Scanner Column, Wildcards, Whole Partition "Folder"

Recommended Posts

EEK 4.0.0.12 (Nice release - good job!!)

1) In the Whitelist, under the Scanner column when an item is checked it is... Included in the scan?  Excluded from the scan?

2) Are Wildcards now supported?

3) For a partition, external SATA, USB device or network share point, is a Folder Type Item (for example) N:\ a valid entry being inclusive of every file therein?

4) For 3) if not, what then?

Thank you.

When an item in the whitelist is checked, it is ignored by the scanner.

I do not recall seeing that in any of the changelogs, so it should not have changed since the previous version.

If you don't want a drive scanned, then do a Custom Scan and select which drives to scan.

As for excluding a folder, anything in that folder would be excluded.
