Discovered AdwCleaner?

Recommended Posts

Good time of day!

I have to say - EAM anything suspicious in the system does not find! :)

I am curious - what discovered AdwCleaner really should be removed?

I understand that Systweak, Uniblue & Mail.ru is a PUP. ^_^

But here are the registry keys associated with IE and 2 files in the profile Fx and Chrome is a need to remove or you can ignore?

p.s.

Checked the files to VT - they are clean!
And as with the registry?

It is all Adware and since we are not the developers of AdwCleaner, we are not privy to the developers targeting criteria.

Hello!

Very thanks.

In other words, these findings can be considered as non-dangerous? After all, EAM, MBAM, Hitman Pro does not consider them even suspicious!

Everything AdwCleaner targets is either a potentially unwanted browser helper object or a browser hijacker, some of which are malicious. Just because EAM, MBAM, or Hitman Pro does not consider an object suspicious does not mean that it is safe.

We are currently in the process of adding much of what AdwCleanr, Junkware Removal Tool, and similar tools target and remove from systems. All of these targeted objects are considered Potentially Unwanted Applications, as in most cases they are not deliberately installed by a user. Instead they a installed during the installation of another application.
