Recommended Posts

Here's a new scan of an old sample:

Old scan:

Emsisoft doesn't detect it according to the new VirusTotal scan. However, it was detected on the old scan.

Certain Emsisoft scan features (such as PUP detection) are purposefully disabled in the VirusTotal scanner. ;)

I know, but the same happens when I scan malware, not PUP.

Emsisoft on VT currently doesn't detect any files as malware.

Another example:

I hope no one uses it for any kind of test or whatever else  :D ...

Since Google bought it, many new engines are being added..........I prefer the old one

Google has nothing to do with that he bought it, and everyone uses this to what you need, here you can see that there is something wrong with the scanner Emsisoft in the VT, the rest is as it should, you can afford a scan on Jotti and many others, always I knew that VT is not a "guru" and you can not believe him 100% but the other hunters see it differently ..... is they now have a beautiful example .... greet doubters
