Siketa
I think it automatically installs on system partition. AFAIK, there is no way to change or choose installation folder. I could be wrong though.....
vavidiso_73
For now, there is no way to change or choose installation folder. What?! Way not change ?. if the installer includes shortcut menu line DIR target = D: \ Program Files (x86) \ Emsisoft Anti-Malware or D: / anti-rootkit and begin the installation of which is a partition of the program will be installed to D: /
Siketa
I'm talking about "normal" installation that almost all users perform, not the custom one. I have never seen a window with dialogue that asks you about destination folder. I edited my previous post a little.
Siketa
Yes, you are right. In Help file there is written: "Advanced users may wish to change the default installation folder used during setup. This can be achieved by using the /DIR parameter. For example /DIR="c:\My Folder\Emsisoft Anti-Malware" or /DIR="c:\My Folder\Emsisoft Internet Security"" I'm not sure if this relies only on different folder on C: partition or can be done with the line /DIR="D:\My Folder\Emsisoft Anti-Malware" as well. hackerman1
You can install EAM wherever you want, partition or folder does not matter. Just add the complete path after /DIR= Note: You have to use doublequotes " if there is a space between characters in the path. A few examples: /DIR="D.\Program Files\EAM" /DIR="E:\PROGRAMS\EMSISOFT ANTIMALWARE"
Christian Peters
Hello, as suggested by hackerman1 and Siketa you can use the command: EmsisoftAntiMalwareSetup.exe /DIR="D:\Your program folder\Emsisoft Anti-Malware" to install Emsisoft Anti-Malware in your own path. vavidiso_73
Thanks to all. It works very well. Just create a shortcut in EmsisoftAntiMalwareSetup.exe and enter the place of installation: EmsisoftAntiMalwareSetup.exe / dir = "D: \ Program \ folder Emsisoft Anti-Malware" Thanks for help.
