EEK vs. malware created restrictions

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if Emsisoft Emergency Kit can bypass policy restrictions created by some malware to prevent AVs and AMs from running, since it is portable?

Regards,

Alex

hi, i asked almost the same question, so you can see the answer here .... you can rename EEK executables and that would be enough to run it (most of the cases) if not use a live cd as suggested in the link

As mentioned by gricardo21, just renaming EEK executable to something that is allowed by the malware will work. Browser names are likely candidates for processes that the malware will allow.
