ratman 0
On 19 march I switched to EIS (v 9.0.0.4985) after years of Avira + Online Armor usage. I started experiencing lots of bsod while web surfing with Firefox. According to BlueScreenView the older minudump I've attached (031915-5085-01.dmp) shows a "irql_not_less_or_equal" error probably caused by tcpip.sys. Bugcheck code is 0x0000000a Next one (032115-5584-01.dmp) has the same kind of error and bugcheck but it's probably caused by ntoskrnl.exe Same goes for the following two (032215-5023-01.dmp) (032315-4804-01.dmp) The last one has a SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION error with a 0x0000003b bugcheck code and was probably caused by RDPCDD.sys By the way I've already tested my ram for defects (over 24 hrs of memtest not a single error) I think I've uninstalled my previous security programs the right way (I've even cleaned the registry with an Avira utility) Any idea ? 031915-5085-01.dmp 032115-5584-01.dmp 032215-5023-01.dmp 032315-4804-01.dmp 032315-5070-01.dmp

Sintharius 18
Christian, can you include this hotfix in EAM/EIS installer?Siketa, the hotfix is copyrighted Microsoft material and thus Emsisoft is not allowed to distribute it. Edit: Sorry for hijacking the thread.

Fabian Wosar 390
That BSOD is unrelated to EAM or EIS. From the looks of it it appears to be a problem with your graphics card driver and the hardware acceleration of your browser/flash.
