Sintharius 18
Hello there, What difference does the "Activate memory usage optimization" option make in Emsisoft Internet Security (and EAM)? Regards, Alex
Da Phu 23
I believe the active memory optimization feature on EAM and EIS is for low the memory usage if there's no suspicious going on your computer that require its real time protection or scan, which is pretty good thing because no one want their antivirus/internet security runs at 150MB memory all the time. Therefore, active memory optimization come really handy by low the memory usage if there's no suspicious behavior on your computer. Siketa 67
I think they said this option will probably be removed in future version.
GT500 860
What difference does the "Activate memory usage optimization" option make in Emsisoft Internet Security (and EAM)? The memory usage optimization moves parts of the database that are not currently being used into the pagefile in order to reduce RAM usage. If you have plenty of RAM, then you can turn this feature off, and you may notice some slight performance increases.
