mojotiger 0 Posted May 19, 2015 Report Share Posted May 19, 2015 and I got a message to come here for help. The file is found here: C:\ProgramData\PicColorUtility\ColorMedia.exe. The PC has WIndows 7 64 bit, running Avast AV. I have already run MBAM, AdwCleaner, JRT, Avast Boot Time Scan, and AVG Boot disc, but the bug is still there. Any help will be appreciated. See the attached FRST and EEK log file. Thanks in Advance. FRST.txt a2scan_150519-141507.txt Link to post Share on other sites

mojotiger 0 Posted May 20, 2015 Author Report Share Posted May 20, 2015 Where will I find the other file? Link to post Share on other sites
Kevin Zoll 309 Posted May 20, 2015 Report Share Posted May 20, 2015 If FRST did not create Additions.txt automatically then it has been run before on this system and not uninstalled. You can get FRST to produce the Additions.txt during scan by making sure it is selected. Do the following: Download AdwCleaner and save it on your desktop. Close all open programs and Internet browsers (you may want to print our or write down these instructions first). Double click on adwcleaner.exe to run the tool. Click on the Scan button. After the scan has finished, click on the Clean button. Confirm each time with OK. You will be prompted to restart your computer. A text file will open in Notepad after the restart (this is the log of what was removed), which you can save on your desktop. Attach that log file to your reply by clicking the More Reply Options button to the lower-right of where you type in your reply.NOTE: If you lose that log file for any reason, you can find it at C:\AdwCleaner on your computer. Download Junkware Removal Tool and save it on your desktop.Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, right-click it and select Run as administrator. The tool will open and start scanning your system. Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications. On completion, a log is saved to your desktop and will automatically open. Attach the JRT log file to a reply by clicking the More Reply Options button to the lower-right of where you type in your reply. Copy the below code to Notepad; Save As fixlist.txt to your Desktop.GroupPolicy: Group Policy on Chrome detected <======= ATTENTION CHR HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google: Policy restriction <======= ATTENTION CHR HKU\S-1-5-21-4032765619-1182945057-2392746508-1000\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google: Policy restriction <======= ATTENTION HKU\S-1-5-21-4032765619-1182945057-2392746508-1000\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer: Policy restriction <======= ATTENTION SearchScopes: HKU\.DEFAULT -> {6A1806CD-94D4-4689-BA73-E35EA1EA9990} URL = SearchScopes: HKU\S-1-5-19 -> DefaultScope {0633EE93-D776-472f-A0FF-E1416B8B2E3A} URL = SearchScopes: HKU\S-1-5-20 -> DefaultScope {0633EE93-D776-472f-A0FF-E1416B8B2E3A} URL = SearchScopes: HKU\S-1-5-21-4032765619-1182945057-2392746508-1000 -> {0633EE93-D776-472f-A0FF-E1416B8B2E3A} URL = SearchScopes: HKU\S-1-5-21-4032765619-1182945057-2392746508-1000 -> {6A1806CD-94D4-4689-BA73-E35EA1EA9990} URL = BHO-x32: No Name -> {53707962-6F74-2D53-2644-206D7942484F} -> No File Winsock: Catalog9 01 C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ColorMedia.dll [332584 2014-11-30] (Say Media Group LTD) Winsock: Catalog9 02 C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ColorMedia.dll [332584 2014-11-30] (Say Media Group LTD) Winsock: Catalog9 03 C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ColorMedia.dll [332584 2014-11-30] (Say Media Group LTD) Winsock: Catalog9 04 C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ColorMedia.dll [332584 2014-11-30] (Say Media Group LTD) Winsock: Catalog9 15 C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ColorMedia.dll [332584 2014-11-30] (Say Media Group LTD) Winsock: Catalog9-x64 01 C:\Windows\system32\ColorMedia64.dll File Not found Winsock: Catalog9-x64 02 C:\Windows\system32\ColorMedia64.dll File Not found Winsock: Catalog9-x64 03 C:\Windows\system32\ColorMedia64.dll File Not found Winsock: Catalog9-x64 04 C:\Windows\system32\ColorMedia64.dll File Not found Winsock: Catalog9-x64 15 C:\Windows\system32\ColorMedia64.dll File Not found 2015-05-18 15:43 - 2014-11-26 09:18 - 00000000 ____D () C:\Program Files (x86)\b3cebd74-4e8f-4ddf-822f-70017da5767b 2015-05-18 15:39 - 2014-11-30 09:53 - 00000000 ____D () C:\Program Files (x86)\63d49273-a91d-4407-9c5a-9ca521bc885a 2015-05-18 15:16 - 2014-11-30 09:54 - 00004496 _____ () C:\Windows\Tasks\c9da51af-78a5-46ee-81f3-23c2ea9c631f-4.job 2015-05-18 15:16 - 2014-11-30 09:54 - 00003472 _____ () C:\Windows\Tasks\c9da51af-78a5-46ee-81f3-23c2ea9c631f-1.job 2015-05-18 15:16 - 2014-11-30 09:53 - 00005520 _____ () C:\Windows\Tasks\c9da51af-78a5-46ee-81f3-23c2ea9c631f-7.job 2015-05-18 14:59 - 2014-11-30 09:53 - 00000654 _____ () C:\Windows\Tasks\57ff7f09-c417-4aeb-8332-b4e359e14bd7.job 2015-05-18 14:54 - 2014-11-30 09:54 - 00001542 _____ () C:\Windows\Tasks\d0eff52c-8be9-44fe-af69-cd41649633f2.job 2015-05-18 14:53 - 2014-11-30 09:53 - 00001770 _____ () C:\Windows\Tasks\c9da51af-78a5-46ee-81f3-23c2ea9c631f-10_user.job 2015-05-18 14:51 - 2014-11-26 09:18 - 00000622 _____ () C:\Windows\Tasks\0e80d29e-13cb-4375-99c6-f21353446707.job 2015-05-18 14:50 - 2014-11-26 09:19 - 00001462 _____ () C:\Windows\Tasks\271da129-9a77-42f3-85ac-294abd42f89a.job 2015-05-18 14:50 - 2014-11-26 09:18 - 00005504 _____ () C:\Windows\Tasks\fd43147d-18d7-4dd3-a85f-4de3108767f5-7.job 2015-05-18 14:50 - 2014-11-26 09:18 - 00005170 _____ () C:\Windows\Tasks\fd43147d-18d7-4dd3-a85f-4de3108767f5-11.job 2015-05-18 14:50 - 2014-11-26 09:18 - 00004480 _____ () C:\Windows\Tasks\fd43147d-18d7-4dd3-a85f-4de3108767f5-4.job 2015-05-18 14:50 - 2014-11-26 09:18 - 00003800 _____ () C:\Windows\Tasks\fd43147d-18d7-4dd3-a85f-4de3108767f5-3.job 2015-05-18 14:50 - 2014-11-26 09:18 - 00003440 _____ () C:\Windows\Tasks\fd43147d-18d7-4dd3-a85f-4de3108767f5-1.job 2015-05-18 14:50 - 2014-11-26 09:18 - 00001228 _____ () C:\Windows\Tasks\fd43147d-18d7-4dd3-a85f-4de3108767f5-10_user.job 2015-04-29 14:48 - 2014-12-11 13:01 - 00000000 __SHD () C:\vseqrntn.bin 2015-04-29 14:27 - 2014-11-30 09:52 - 00004912 _____ () C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ColorMedia.ini 2014-09-01 04:18 - 2015-05-18 15:49 - 0000365 _____ () C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\ELGJJRO 2014-12-01 07:37 - 2014-12-10 12:43 - 0000008 _____ () C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\handle.txt 2014-10-14 14:11 - 2014-12-11 10:11 - 0000201 _____ () C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\WB.CFG 2014-10-16 16:11 - 2014-12-08 06:11 - 0000002 _____ () C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\DSI.DAT 2014-12-08 06:11 - 2014-12-08 06:11 - 0022528 _____ () C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\dsisetup23256782.exe 2014-11-21 14:11 - 2014-11-21 14:11 - 0022528 _____ () C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\dsisetup31103012.exe 2014-06-05 14:46 - 2014-06-05 14:46 - 0000000 ____H () C:\ProgramData\DP45977C.lfl C:\ProgramData\PicColor Utility\ColorMedia.exe C:\Windows\system32\ColorMedia.dll C:\Windows\AppPatch\AppPatch64\SPVCLdr64.dll C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ColorMedia.dllClose Notepad.NOTE: It's important that both files, FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work.
