bubl8015
Hi Just curious if someone can answer this question - Does EIS scan incoming emails and outgoing emails for viruses? Just want to make sure there is no special setting to enable EIS to scan incoming emails. I use Thunderbird. Dave

So it is not needed to scan the mails with a Email Add-in before That is essentially correct, and there is no built-in e-mail scanning feature. To add to it, if the files created by your mail client are in a plain text format (or an archive format that the BitDefender engine supports), and the file extension it uses is on our extension filter list, then when new messages are saved they will be automatically scanned.
