Windows Defender Update Issue

Same here.

What to do ?


Note the date (last scan)

1. Emsisoft Internet Security was already installed since September

2. Seems then that Defender worked upto Nov.15

3. AFAIK the Windows 10 update (1511 10586) was released on that date

4. It looks like from that point on Defender stopped




Meanwhile I am very sorry for the big screenshot...

Is there no way to upload, or insert a screenshot as 'thumbnail' ?

Attached images will appear as thumbnails, and can be embeded into your post by clicking a button, or simply displayed at the bottom of your post if you don't embed them yourself.

As for the issue at hand, you may want to try disabling Windows Defender with ShutUp10, and see if that resolves the issue. Please note that you may need to restart your computer after doing this. If ShutUp10 does not offer to do this for you, then you can right-click on the Start button, then go to Shut down or sign out, and select to restart your computer.
